I would just go for the semi team as is, but I wouldn't be suprised to see Pep throwing one curve ball...Just wondering who it may be!

Woops...nerves

Ah fuck it I'm going to the pub for a couple early ones to cheer Brentford on second half.

Just a personal point of view, Welsh teams don't belong in the English Premier League

What a day! Hardly slept last night and out of bed at 6. Couple of hours out with the dog before dropping the Mrs off at work, now watching the Brentford v Swansea game and already biting my nails. Waiting until 5 to pick the Mrs up and then need to hit the Stella.

Come on you Blue ThunderBastards!

I want to see a good game and would like to see Brentford come up after just missing out last season. Look to play decent football as well.

Just started on the Corona. Seems to be cheap these days. Looks like I'll have a bottle of red down by ko at this rate - just what I wanted to avoid.

Fuck it though, drinking in the sun even in England

Putting BBQ on at 5 to accompany the Stella. Got a nice bottle of red saved for if we win and an even nicer brandy for dessert. If we lose, well, I’ll probably just spank it all ;-)

And I'm not 100% convinced we will win either!

Im less than that, mate. I believe we should win and think that on balance we have far the better , cohesive team. However, there’s always those variables that cannot be quantified until we step out on the pitch such as the pressure that the players put on themselves and, more telling, how that fucking Spanish referee is going to act with spite to Pep or upon UEFAs orders.

Then again, I even think we can overcome a dodgy referee that may be under orders, we are that good when are on form.

Come on City!

I kind of agree with Noel Gallagher

He says with our best team we beat Chelsea nine times out of ten and the one time we lose on penalties.
Anything can happen in a one off game. But we are a superior team with a better squad and bench. And we will be on a high after picking up the PL trophy last week. If we are outplayed on the day then do be it. But playing the odds, we are more likely to prevail

If everything was perfect for both teams I’d be going for a 3-0/3-1 for City, that’s what my head says.

Just watching the build-up on BT and a fly must have flown in my eye.

Our game at the Etihad against PSG was probably the best I've seen City play - I hope we see the same lineup.
