Let Sterling, Silva and Marez go if it helps to get them in.

Think we would have a much harder edge with those three. We would be more clinical and much harder to beat. Opposition players would be looking over their shoulders for a change. We would still play beautiful football.

Interesting all three could have played for Ireland who are totally crap at the moment. Good decisions by them.

You'd think that they would opt for their first junior choices and stick with them. Shouldn't be allowed to switch allegiance

are we all resigned to getting kane and comfortable with that now?? i for one am dreading it and hope to hell it doesn't happen. maybe he would improve us - maybe - but he is a total knob and prone to injury and old and too expensive.

Im not a fan of this happening. Hoping that we have something surprising up our sleeve. Id be happy with Rice and (less so) Grealish

We need a Grealish the maverick. That game that fucking Porto disaster was screaming for it, give me the fucking ball, right Kante chase me you prick. Into Foden KDB, and back. Keep running cunt we can do this all day, Jorginho would have been targeted and the game would not have been the fuck up it was. If Pep has the balls we need that spontaneous player to again move further. Our plan A is brilliant but can get Sussed, as we saw. Rice Grealish Foden KDB has it all legs vision and of the scale raw ability, Ferna as back up. Kane 35 goals.

If we are just going to win domestically then spending 300 million on Grealish and Kane makes little sense to me ( plus their wages) .

Any fans who think the owners are not focused on us winning the CL next year then they are fuckign deluded ,so Baldie needs to win it or at least get to the final and and if we do lose by being beaten by the better team then, barring any fuck ups which is down to his management, and he will get another shot at it.

From a pure footballing and tactical perspective, I think Kane is a better fit than Halaand. But he's also much older and injury prone ... On the other side of the coin, Halaand is untested in the Premier League and seems a bit of a dick.

It's a tough choice. Perhaps a third or fourth solution that no one is talking about could be the ticket. Just like Ruben proved to be.

Haaland's first touch isn't great. He's an out an out striker, not a versatile player who can also drop deep and create a lot for others.

Kane gets the numbers (goals, assists), but also does a lot more.

Pep like players who can do a bit of everything.

Fair enough and not far off the truth..however...Haaland is not injury prone and is 7 years younger and doesnt need to be as versatile as we have enough players to provide goal scoring chances...Haaland is more lethal than Kane in that regard.

Id prefer to sign a player 7 years younger and if we want him to be more versatile then he can be coached....same happened with Aguero...Baldie coached him to be more 'versatile'.

I agree to that. I just meant right now, in this team, with this manager.

According to a quick look at Transfermarkt, Kane has missed two months a season over past five years. Most of these with ankle injuries.

While that seems high, his scoring record is phenomenal.

Hang on to Bernie for at least one more season - unless he's pissed off with Pep and wants out. Mahrez can go while we can get a decent fee for him.

Two months in which Delap & Torres can show what they can do.

Not somebody we’ve been linked with, but Kalvin Phillips was outstanding today and has looked decent every time I’ve seen him play for Leeds. Would be a good replacement for Fernandinho?

Vermins are looking at him apparently, would be funny to steal him from under their noses
