Do you want him here next season or you want him out?

You know my response.

That would depend on the replacement. Or indeed who the centre forward will be.

Who knows, Pep may be working on a different formation for next year. He seems to constantly evolve his sides and the style of play. Maybe we will see a more direct approach with pacy wingers to service someone like Haaland or Isak. Maybe we will see more of the same from last season. Time will tell. But I wouldn’t be surprised if we went with a traditional type of forward who is also mobile.

But whatever role he will take, he needs to show in pre season he has the hunger and aptitude to carry it off. He was poor last season for the most part and he doesn’t seem his normal self. Maybe a new challenge is the best solution for him or maybe he looks at how Stones resurrected his career and does the same. But I cannot see us paying big money for a wide player before getting a forward in and a Fernandinho replacement as well.

But he has been a great player in the main for us over the last 4-5 years and has played a huge part in our successes and I would be kind of sorry to see him go. But that’s part of football. Sides evolve and actually need to do so to avoid going stale and to keep the hunger and freshness at optimum levels. So if he goes and IF we get a suitable replacement, then so be it. I personally think he will be here at the start of the season and won’t be disappointed if he is

True. But how much would someone who is decent then cost? Does that mean we don’t buy a forward?

IF he goes, I think it’s more likely to be a swap for someone. Unless maybe Foden will simply make that his position? Another possibility

Part exchange or just cash in , let’s face it he wasn’t even worth a squad place last season he was that bad . No way is he going to improve either his head is fucked and lost all confidence . It’s a shame but business is business.

Just 14 goals from the service he gets , misses 136,000 in the process

What pisses me off is first Pep and now Southgate are moving Foden to accommodate him. With the form he is in, Foden shouldn't be shifted from the left for anyone.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

He should have had more, we all know that but you do tend exaggerate in your replies.

Who else would have scored if he wasn't in the squad that we had last season not who we could of had, but actually was at the club available and would guarantee to have scored more than him?

Only the club (& him) can make a decision about his future, whether its a personal issue with club/staff etc or if he is having personal issues like Stones, who the club stood by didn't they when we were all binning him off (me included).

You never know, him being human, maybe this whole pandemic has affected him mentally like it has the people you've mentioned in OT among your friends/social circle over the last year?

Sergio leaving, I happen to think that means Raheen is going nowhere next season.

Also I believe he is starting up a club/charity same as the one he has back in Brentford where he grew up, doesn't sound like a want away player and I doubt he would go to the effort if he was out of favour at the club or knew he was on thin ice?

Someone like Son would not only be a replacement, but an improvement imo. Zero chance of us getting him though.

Raphina at leeds for me. Grealish could replace him altho not like for like he would bring more.

The issue is no one could afford him to make it worth our while, we would get peanuts for him so we would be better off keeping him as a squad player and hoping he finds a bit of form like someone mentioned above.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PSG or Chelsea ? Obviously we wouldn’t sell to Chelsea . Transfer market is going to be tricky this summer agreed will be some interesting swap deals though .

Who is going to pay north of 70 mill for him now?
Swap deals for high profile players are rare and probably very difficult to achieve.
I think he stays. He can recover form, just like Stones did, when so many wanted his head on the chopping block.

Dias has contributed heavily to Stones improvement. Who do we bring in to help Sterling improve?
