Perhaps this time last year Italy would have been too young, too inexperienced a squad . An extra years playing has probably helped them as they mature and gain experience. Bobby Manc is building a good squad and team. For the next few years they will be co-favourites for competitions. I don't think they are quite there yet.

Italy are overrated.
They do not have a goal scorer and their 30 game unbeaten run is deceptive. They have not played a top international side in that run of matches.

Bobby has done a terrific job with the talent available to him but they are about to be found out.

Agree with this. Thought Austria got at them and that a fast, pacey team would have swamped them last night. That cb pairing lack pace and I'd fancy England against them and we've been mostly shite so far

What's this I am hearing Wijnaldum will leave the pitch if the hungarian fans will make racist sounds?

Was he this upset when his team's fans were attacking other buses?

And thinking we were linked with Frankie de Jong and de Ligt.

We really dodged two bullets there. Average at best.

To be fair you can rarely count on performances from International football as a guideline of how a player will do at club level. The elite clubs are now much better than even the best International teams and as such you can play with inferior players that your club has. Foden can play alongside Mason Mount. Who is vastly inferior to KDB as an example

Yep, however, both of them were mediocre at their clubs. Van Basten had a dig at de Ligt saying he learned fuckall at Juventus, and he was right.

ITV showed the lineup a 4-3-3 with Kevin on the right and Hazard on the left.
Either that, or they are actually 4-3-2-1.
