Is that England beating a very good team in the finals; how long has it been?

Would love to see Zinchenko playing against us in the next round.

We were lucky to get to a semi last time, we are even luckier now.

Don't know about very good team but cannot argue that the "Tuchel" way won the day. Can only stay in a knockout competition and we have done that. Two decent moves and two good goals. On we go. Draw is open for us now

Fuck off Beefy ;-)

Congrats fellas! Hoping for Sweden to replicate your result. The Swedish commentators thought Sterling was your MOTM for what it's worth. Always beating his man and often one more, but not having any service or let out once he did.

This and I know it won't make every one happy on here.

Maybe, just maybe this will sort his domestic form out.

Yep.
Not conceded yet.
Mourinho made a career out of winning football matches in this fashion. This performance would have been lauded as a Mourinho Masterclass

Southgate is severely lacking in attacking prowess, but to be fair we are very difficult to break down. Its disappointing for my money to have the attacking skills of Brazil but to play like Scotland

I think we’ve been fairly dog shit, mate, but we’re through. Whatever I think of the tactics or the players picked, how can we complain when we get results?

Even better, Sterling and Walker got rave reviews, Stones the same but overshadowed by the usual media fawning for the Rag players; it’s all about PR for them. England win and a third of the team beat Germany, what’s not to like.

He was brilliant, and deserves all the plaudits

I've been slated as a Raz apologist, but I will say that either he or both he and whoever was to receive that pass he made that gave Muller the chance he missed put England firmly planted in the lucky AF category right then and there.

It’s OK, mate, as his team mates pulled him out and forced the player to shoot wide. That’s what it’s all about.

Just checked...it was Phillips, but not sure why Raz thought he was sure to track back to receive the pass.

TBF, this is a sign of players not used to one another.

What helped today were the partnership of Stones-Walker and we know Stones and McGuire get along well, and England playing in a way that showed how Kane-Grealesh-Sterling front 3 could be for us AND England (it would suit England to have them both come to City just for that)

Oh and there's this lad Foden too.

Very curious what will happen with Raz now. We know he wants a KDB level contract.

His value is back up tremendously now, but I think we give him one more go next season.

Holding will mean any fee will be less, with 1 year left, but hard to know what the market is like next summer or even winter.

Let’s face it, Raheem will never get a Pogba type contract so all’s he’ll have in his ambition locker is keep winning trophies.
