I think unfortunately this will be used by his agent to try and push for a deal close to Kev’s. He doesn’t deserve that - no fuckin way. The fact he’s playing well over the last couple of weeks, but was dog shit for us towards the end of the season is more worrying than anything for me. Perhaps he doesn’t want to be at City and needs a fresh challenge?

He probably gets marked out of most games in the PL but only has 3 or 4 to cope with in these types of games

We were fairly mundane, to be honest, and it was a couple of individual plays that got us through. I don’t underestimate anybody and, if anything, I just want to see good football.

Without wanting to upset people, I’m not sure how this stands, mate. 19 goals last season would be classed as a huge bonus for a wide player in all comps. 30 odd the season before and the same for the preceding season, I can’t understand the anger that he gets.
