Loved when we played with the anniversary shirt in the Shield vs scouse. We looked magnificent.

Agreed

Last kit I liked was umbro with the dark collar and gold badges

I think in the 70s and 80s we had the best shirts, but a lot of teams had also.
They looked fantastic.

The 90s were odd shirt-wise.

It was great when we had Umbro at the start of the last decade. Not only were our shirts decent but they reissued the '81 cup final shirt and the' 89 shirt as well as the tracky top with the diamonds on the sleeve. Always liked Umbro. The '77 kits were the first I got as a kid.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Apart from the shite white under the arms it's much better than the crazy, smashed eggshell look of last season's offering which i thought was one of the worst in living memory. They had our pants down with that shocker

Yeah it’s disgusting compared with the stuff they produced for Dortmund.

It looks like Puma are piggybacking on the club to connect themselves with Manchester and the Madchester scene. The Factory hat-tip in the kit a couple of seasons ago was great, but this just has no relevance to anyone or anything - it's like someone in the Puma staff has an obsession with Manchester, and they're designing what they want, and then just sticking the MCFC badge on it as an afterthought.

I still can't get over the Banana kit being an April Fool's joke - someone actually put thought and effort into designing something historically relevant, unique to the club, and half-decent looking for a "prank", and yet efforts like this are going to be made available to the general public.

Fuck me£70 now post pandemic. We are cunts just as much as the rest.

Got the fake one for a tenner weeks ago. Bang on. Gonna check out the real ones fit as that seems to be only difference

(Other news I picked up a signed shirt for £350. Found shirt to be fake and got the company to swap it. Closer Inspections it seems all signed companies are using bloody ten pound fake shirts and sellinh for big money which makes me doubt signatures but that is big fraud.

New shop in arndale with a Silva shirt in the window is a fake).

Its horrible but no doubt my kids will want all three with shorts and numbers on it. China for a tenner a piece it will be so.

Puma, the club or whoever have priced me out of it and i consider myself quite comfortable. How do those less fortunate keep up?

The pricing is scandalous for something that has less than 12 months of shelf life. I thought we’d get decent shirt designs when Puma were announced, but apart from Hacienda away to say they’ve been below average is too kind.

Got given the home and GK one today as a present, quality is bobbins for what they cost. People should just order from China… Bring back Umbro, 2010/11 best shirt we’ve ever had.

£70 for just the shirt... and it looks wank. Scandalous. Gonna stick with the ones I have. The collars are the worst bit for me on these Puma kits, look terrible... Am I the only one that appreciates the round necks? Still think the 125yr Anniversary top is one of the best in recent years - got it as a gift and I will stick with that and the Paisley kit I also got gifted! These official kits are too expensive!!

I’ve just seen on the MEN that City’s new kit is the most expensive in the Prem to buy. Disgraceful really.

The home shirt looks like that shiny stuff that pulls very easily. It’ll look a mess in no time so I’ll pass, especially at those prices.

I miss Umbro. We’ve not had a black and red since 2012. Puma paying tribute to Manchester rather than City tradition with the connections and I’ll never be a fan of any citrus coloured shirt.
