But let’s go through possibly the worst tactical substitution in the history of international football semi finals …….
Gareth Southgate takes off Grealish in extra time with England 2-1 up who has only been on the pitch 25 minutes and replaces him with yet another fucking defender while the opposition are out on their feet and unable to make any more substitutions because they have used them all up . This tactical genius of a substitution enables the opposition to regain the initiative and put pressure back on England ?!?!?!?!
England were totally dominating with both Grealish and Foden on the pitch it was easy but yet Southgate did this unbelievable self destructing tactical substitution?!?!?!?
Fucking unbelievable, Southgate is actually holding this England team back making hard work of games that should be relatively straightforward. The guy does my fucking head in !!!!!
It is going to be a hard watch on Sunday Southgate won’t change anything I just hope we somehow win in normal time after the Italians somehow self destruct.
Painful absolutely fucking painful .

too late 64, Baghead is now a national hero - and a role model for Keir Starmer

His squad selection and his tactics, however shit they might be, have got us to where no other manager in my lifetime has done. As much as I want to dislike the guy he's already an achiever - and he is one game away from possibly being a legend.

Whilst I totally understand this point of view, my opinion is Slouthgate getting us to the final is a result of pure happenstance, nearly everything has gone his way, from home games at Wembley too being in the easier half of the draw.
Don’t get me wrong, I want us to win, but if we do, it will be in spite of Slouthgate not because!

Gentlemen, it has all been said before and perfectly by William Shakespeare.

"Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them". Southgate is the latter of the three.
