City should just pick a club that’s going to be challenging for promotion and tell him he’s going there. If we do get Kane though, I’d rather he stayed and work with Kane. Yes and no.
I think players are at risk to get lost when they play in a Championship side or even a small Premier club. They are making the step from playing and training with world-class players to do that with second-tier players, some that can become a bad influence on him at this age.

I think Foden would not have been that good if we would have send him away on loan to play at WBA or another mediocre team. Our loanees did not turn good at all over the last 15 years or so. Maybe just Hart, the rest lost their way.
I would risk it and play him, give him confidence and see if he can deliver.

But I will be very surprised if we do not sign both Grealish and Kane this window.
All the indicators suggest both deals are done.
