Bye Bye Bernardo, Laporte and Jesus?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I understand Bernie, he was the escape goat in that banter gone wrong with Mendy + all the abuse he got online for that and then refusing to give the guard of honors to those dopey fuckers.

Also, he had a fantastic run at some point this season out, but Baldie came again with his atticks and favourism and he was either player out of position and subbed.

I don't want him to go, he is still young, he is a collective player and an overall nice fella, but I understand his motives and why he wants to leave England.

I just hope he wants to go and he is not forced out.

Bernie has the homesick thing so that's fair enough. Nice fella, runs around a lot, sometimes brilliant, sometimes anonymous.

Laporte always had that 'not a team man' thing hanging over him, first from France (not that deschamps is any shining light)and then when he lost top spot (through injury) it seems to have been one grumble after another really. Always feel there's baggage there. Sandler is back with us and before his injury he looked really good. Hopefully he can pull straight through.

Jesus - well what can we say? So much potential yet I've never seen a player improve so little. He's never really delivered has he? And never will. Apologies if he doesn't actually want out, but that's the way it is.

De Bruyne, Sterling, Foden, Mahrez all played out of position at points last season.
Bernardo in 26 PL games last season got 2 goals and 6 assists.
Kev in 25 got 6 goals and 12 assists.
There's a reason Kev is preferred.

Don't get me started with Sterling, left that one alone.
Kev is not an example, to be honest. He is the type of player that needs a free role on the pitch.

It doesn't really matter if any of them wants to leave, no clubs in Europe have any money to spend.

Unless any of them are happy to go to Spurs as part of the Kane transfer (which I doubt), there won't be any clubs out there able to afford them.

Pictures of Jesus laughing and joking with Pep in training today. It’s not him that wants out.

Could Sterling be the one?
Found it odd he was not pictured by the club when the Euro boys came back.

Doesn't necesserily mean anything. You can Act professional and still want out. I don't think it has anything to do with their relationship but how much he is being used. There's this weird myth that in football, unlike in any other prosessiin, you always leave with bridges burning behind.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Jesus photo'd with a training top with no number 9 on it, some lads going into meltdown over it.

Bernardo Silva has rejected a move to Arsenal but still wants to leave #ManCity this summer, confirms Filipe Dias.

Don't know how reliable this is.

If any player is rejecting Arsenal, then I’d say it’s true.

If he is homesick, why would he go to arsenal? Only reason is that it's London and his Mrs would take that over Manchester. Cannot see this happening regardless- makes no sense whatsoever from his foorballung perspective

Some footballers just do what their bird says. One of the good things about Pep actually is he just said to his bird, “you know what, I’m Manc now. Piss off to Barca, I’ll be alright here love!”

If the clowns in charge of our transfer department managed to get 18m then I would fully expect us to be paying his wages for the buyer.

Bernado i can understand as the arrival of Grealish puts him down the pecking order. I love the little guy for his fuck em attitude but i can accept he's not as good as he was since the racist tweet farce. I can see him going now Grealish is here. Talk of Laporte being a 'loser' is quite frankly bollocks. Dias or Stones get injured and i'd have him in above Ake . Nothing wrong with a player wanting to be first choice. He'd get into most teams . His problem is that Stones had a great season and stopped dropping bollocks and Dias has been immense. Jesus perhaps can see the writing on the wall with Kane and is perhaps protecting his interests but you can hardly blame him. If we don't get Kane all we've done is just piss off a decent player who need a run in the team
