I believe this is where we are at. If not, we will go without. I don't expect to see him line up against us rhough - that would be taking the piss

I hope he does and then gets injured for the season .

That will put paid to that little “will he won’t he” drama .

If its going to happen it'll be after the weekend game. Not particularly bothered either way as i'd like Jesus to have a more games, i also thing with Grealish , Mahrez , Sterling, Torres and potentially Silva getting his mojo back, we'll do ok up front. Oh and that ginger wizard De Bruyne and young Foden when they get themselves fit.
I'd like to have Kane but not at any price and i think that arse Daniel Levy will just hold out for an inflated fee of £150m+

When you have players who want out they will never play 100%.....Jesus and Bernardo want out (by all accounts) and so I expect very little from them.

I hope Baldeo has a fuckign better plan than he had in the CS...he may have had an argument as to why he played the way he played in that game due to lack of a full squad to pick from but I wont give him any credit if we start shit and he blames the players not being fit enough or not having pre season games.

Nearly every other team had the same problems as us, to a degree , so he can fuck off with any excuses.

Every other team has a striker, and we don't, and it's none of the players' fault for that.

We've had some form of squad deficiency every season Pep has been here be it going into the season with one DM, not replacing Vinnie, the continuing absence of a decent left back or as we are now, without a proper number 9. With the resources at our disposal, it shouldn't be happening.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Good post.
Very odd that, to be honest. Did he ask for those and the board said no, or he said he will manage?
A question we might never know the answer to.

Peps ego? Wants to be known as the man who won without a recognised formation? Maybe?

Good player Kane, but 150 mill is far to much for 28 year old, don't feel this is going to happen

I know it is, but What's the alternative? Don't say Haaland or Mbappe, not going to happen. We need to wait for next rising superstar

Agreed. We need to get Kane in and develop Delap or identify the next Haaland/Mbappe when they’re 18 and not be paying through the nose for them when they’re early 20s

I can't see us going to 150, it's too much for him. Rather than this stringing out running on, wasting time, we should offer our max and if that's not acceptable then just walk away, now.
Problem is there doesn't seem to be a lot of alternatives.

Why is everyone hung up on the price?
It is irrelevant.
What is relevant is that Kane makes us much better.

If we pay £200M - so what. Does it bankrupt the club? or the Sheik? or turn Spurs into winners? or alienate the media  or get us banned from the CL or we fail FFP :D :D  .............

Nope. It changes nothing aside from making us better and making it more difficult for VAR to screw us as we would have the England captain.

The haters will still hate, the media will still bitch, the Rags and Dippers will still spout history.......

Bring it on!

Kane is obviously a great player, I said before 150 is to much, but another poster pointed out, what difference does it make to us, after all it's not our household budget is it? So bring it on

That could explain his tendency to put square pegs in round holes. (Zinchenko and Delph, Fern, false 9). Maybe thinks he can turn players into something they're not.
