Our Mini slump really is all on Pep.

Last season we won the League, and he decided with half a dozen League games still left until the Champions League Final. That he would rest the big players and rotate, rotate, rotate until the Champions League final.

Chelsea on the other hand, had not secured Top 4,so played full strength all the way to the final.

Worked against us, we lost League games and top players lost their edge as we took a sabbatical until the Final.

Chelsea looked match fit we looked unfit.

All on Pep.

Has cost us 2 Champions Leagues.

We lose games because he is really arrogant and believes he is never wrong.

Comes out with bollocks about players coming back from the Euros not being up to Speed.

Still found a place for "Run/Fall over/Lose Possession" (Sterling)

How the fuck did he sit there for 70+ minutes watching Mendy with better alternatives sat next o him on the Bench.

We will never win the Champions League with him.

Another defeat in our mini slump on him.

I don't see them work as a partnership, to be honest.

Hopefully with a fully fit squad, the only game time Sterling will see is on the right.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Looks like the media are overjoyed with our demise, loathsome Ladyman of the Mail even felt it necessary to add up the cost of city's squad 913 million v spurs 315 million adding if we sign Kane we will be the billionaire boys, fucking brilliant

Just watched a replay of their goal from Ederson’s view. He shouldn’t get off lightly imo - he’s a top quality keeper and he could see that coming and didn’t even go for it. He’s got to do better.

Still love the guy though.

Our record vs scum, dippers, Spurs and Chelsea is looking pretty crap for a top team. Pep doesn’t appear to learn from his mistakes.

On first view I couldn't believe he didn't save it. Then I thought it looked like Diaz was going to deflect it to Ed's left. Hence stuck in the middle in that micro-second. Not saying it wasn't possible to save, but I can see how it happened.

That pretty much sums up the situation.

I’m glad he got over the CL in 2 days though - bully for him.

I haven’t and won’t get over it as I won’t get over his constant “fuck you , I’ll play who I want when I want even though I’m wrong “ attitude .

We ALL saw what was going to happen (again ) before a ball was kicked - and we don’t get paid 20 million for seeing the glaringly obvious .

No pressure from his spafia mates over this —- that’s why he does it .

You're 1 clever guy you Carl, you know it'll be different to last season. That's the last season that you were saying Pep had been shit for 2 years in November and then we win the league by 12 points 2 years after winning the treble. Hardly heard a peep from you December to March and then we lose to the rags and you're back with your genius thoughts such as we should sell the guy who was PFA Player of the year 2 years running.
Of course when we win the league by 12 points you resort to " if we just want domestic dominance " but then we lose a domestic game 1-0 and you go crazy again.
I get home from the game late last night ,read the match thread and see you going on again about " some fans are more passionate than others ". All the fans there yesterday were pissed off Mendy was playing but there wasn't a fan there having a pop at the manager as he's proved himself time and time and time again.

Ah the fucking Flat earth believer arrives on the scene.

What baldy has proved time and time and time again is he is clueless at many things...picking the right team constantly is beyond him.
Cant wait till he fucks off...just so we can see you self implode, bawling your eyes out.

P.S Did you ask all 2,978 of them ? I'm impressed.

PPS. Do you have a man crush on me ? go on ..you can tell us all.

Clueless at many things- just not winning loads of trophies.
Far more of a crush on Kev, the one you wanted to sell.
Can't wait til we win a few on the trot again so you fuck off again like you did last time.

Pep should do fan not press conferences, then we’d see him squirm. The first question I would ask is “can you name a singe positive contribution Mendy made v Spurs”?

Answer: the cross for Fernandinho's header.

He keeps the players spirits up. All they have to do after a defeat is look at Mendy and think, ‘at least I’ll never be as shit as that!’

We all know that Son seems to have a purple patch against City. I still don't understand why Ake didn't close him down , and guide him to the corner flag, or even tackle him before he got to the penalty area, mendy was behind him . I am afraid Ake just isn't good enough. He is an ok player but we can't rely on him in big matches. Pep should have known better yesterday and started Walker right Cancelo left and Stones in the middle. Son should have been nobbled in the first half. take the yellow card.

I was shocked how Taylor let the time run down in the second half. Spuds got lucky and it was annoying to see so much deliberate time wasting.

Let’s judge Ake after he’s had a few games without Mendy next to him.

Reading a lot of comments it goes a little deeper than just this game and that many have lost trust in Guardiola to manage this squad.

Is this now the point where we look elsewhere to have a chance of winning the CL?

Ake didn't do what you suggest because he was covering for the absent Mendy. Mendyvonly came into the picture when Son cut back on to his left foot and then was as effective as a chocolate fireguard.
