Pep is leaving when his contract ends

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Pep might be a genious when it comes to footy. But there's a fair few brain farts thrown in here and there.

I understand his motive and desire to coach a national team one day. I am not too worried when that day arrives. Heck I will even applaud his departure. But the problem is, as others pointed out, that his desire to exit gives the wrong signals to our players etc. A quote like this can seriously harm our chances in the league and cups up until he actually quits.

Perhaps he said this to prompt City to shove him out before 2023.

Maybe the folks in power at the club are as pissed with the CL final fuck up as the fans were. Perhaps there has been or is an ongoing power struggle with Pep now showing his arse by publically announcing his intention to leave. I can’t believe that announcement was sanctioned by the club so maybe this is a culmination of said power battle. And if it is, there will be but one winner and that’s the guy who is in charge of the money

He will not be here in 12 months

Not me - I went home and away with Alan Ball, Frank Clarke, Stuart Pearce. I'm sure we'll never have as bad as that again.
I'll definitely be upset though.
What about you Carl, throwing a party. Try and get some better drinks than Baileys though, bit of a tarts drink.

I throw party's all the time...its part of my social life I have here in the Caribbean - Baily s coffee is a beautiful beverage in the morning...just the one though, as it is fattening.

I think you will be more than upset , you cry your eyes out whenever anyone has a pop at him so your sure to self combust when he finally fucks off.

I support my club........bigger than any fucking manager and always will be.

I'm actually surprised it lasted this long.
One of those that people respect more when they see next guy coming in.

This is a disaster for incoming transfers though. No one wants to join club where your manager is guaranteed to change.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I wouldn’t say it’s a disaster but it is a variable that may have an impact.

At least he won’t be taking players away from us to another club.

That's a shame, I was hoping he'll take Mendy with him

That was always the case. Just drama queen's misinterpretating an interview in Brazil and using it in an agenda against Pep.

Absolute bollocks. He’s been told off by City and has come out with that today  He’d seen his arse because Kane announced hours earlier that he was staying at Spurs.

Or someone that fails to see flaws in a person because they love them more than they love the club they support. You’re literally the only person that believes this, that should say something.

Not a question of believing it though is it? The press make up absolute lies and we let it go. This ronaldo shit has pissed me off no end. Why not come out a fortnight ago and say we were offered him and said fuck off.?

Because it never happened.
Because we had an agreement last night, we fucked around with Juventus, Mendes tapped United, they offered more, Mendes came back to us with it and told us to match it and then we told them to fuck off.
We were used as a bargaining chip.

No media here, just us being idiots.

Because that's not the way we roll now. Reacting to every made up press story up story isn't productive.

Thinking logically, why the fuck would we ever need Tranny? Who's place is he going to take? Next thread would be why isn't Delap getting any game time.

I believed Alan Ball when he said that Buster Phillips would be the first £10m player though, so what do I know!

What the actual fuck are you talking about?

I don't get it. Of course Pep is flawed. But that is a problem for you that he isn't perfect? And why would anyone love him more than the club, that would just be weird.
