Questions need to be asked regarding the activity of the Spafia, no matter how this is going to end.

They are either incapable of signing the main targets or delaying things and we end up looking like fools.
Do they have 100% hands on this, or Khaldoon and the big boss are actually not that keen to spend like they used to.

Baldie said that we didn't make an official bid for Kane because Levy was not opened for negotiations, so, who was the striker we had in the bag back in may?
Why are they fucking around so much?

Why all the doom and gloom.
Jack is a great signing, who pep will improve.
Yeah no striker, but its not easy.
We still have a fantastic squad. Better than last season in many ways.

We will see what happens, the wondow is not closed yet.

Anyone would swear were on the cusp of relegation!!

And Tranny is still a cunt.

What's not to like.

Serious questions need to be asked. What is going on?

For 2 years, we have been searching for a top class striker that will allow us to challenge as one of the best clubs in europe. Considering how others have strengthened, we are further away now.

It seems our board have an snobbish opinion on where we sit in how we deal with other clubs and how players need to show a willingness to come here.

Take Grealish for example. When the media first reported the £100mill transfer fee, you had everyone jumping up criticising the media saying they were reporting the deal by including the wages and that there would be no way we would be stupid enough to pay over £80mill for Grealish. Turns out the media were 100% spot on. Take the transfers of Walker Stones Sterling etc. City: "we offer £25mill" Selling club: "no we want £50mill". On and on we wnet for the summer and ended up offering exactly what the selling club wanted on day 1. That is not negotiation. We walked away from deals for absolute idiotic reasons and this Ronaldo one seems to fall into that category.

If the media are correct, we were offered Ronaldo 2 weeks ago but we were happy that we were progressing with Kane and that was our first preference. When that went tits ups, we were back offered Ronaldo again and although not 1st choice, it was better than no striker again but for some reason, we were insisting on not paying a transfer fee. We discuss with his agent, get a contract sorted but still delay in getting any sort of offer to Juve. We leave it so long, we leave the door open for a direct rival to come in and match our terms and lose another deal.

This is how I see it as well. I am not privy to the actual talks so I can't really comment. But there is still time and many things can happen.

Let’s get this right ……

MCFC were never interested in Ronaldo

Juve desperate to offload him for financial reasons.

Ronaldo would not have been my first choice, it is more about the incompetence of the board and not being able to secure a striker in over 2 years is incompetent. FFS, even Arsenal have better finishers than us at the moment.

If we get Haaland next year I'll be happy. If that means not signing Ronaldo or anyone else now, I'm fine with that.

Doom and gloom because we’ve know Aguero was leaving for years and not replaced him. We’ve know left back was a major issue for years and not done anything about it.

When Aguero left we were promised a replacement or did I imagine that? That alone is an absolute failure unless we sign someone before end of transfer deadline - Kayky and Delap don’t count. The problem is how much of the press reports were true, there are that many ITK we are left wondering how much we were really in for Messi (last year), Ronaldo, Kane etc

We as fans identified left back as a problem but being unable to shift Mendy left us with a problem that I guess we were trying to manage with the various options we have. We now are completely unable to shift Mendy, so are stuck with one less option at LB & possibly don’t have time to resolve before the end of the window.

What's wrong with Kayky or Delap, I'd rather we promote someone from academy than just buy superstars.
We are becoming spoiled, I remember when we were happy with the likes of Samaras.
