Obviously not the best result, but a nice day out. Man City fans were lovely. The only "abuse" I received was a "long drive home for you lads!" after the game (but if that constitutes abuse, world's gone mad).

We all know all it takes is one idiot to ruin a football fan's experience. I've experienced idiots at United, Villa but never at City. One chap actually gave me directions to the away end (I was running late at 12.25 and didn't meet my contact in time at The Corner Shop pub!)

I also spoke to a fan on the walk back to the car, in his 60s with his wife. Nice fella and we discussed the state of the Arsenal for a good 5 minutes.

Mase- perfect place to park, that! I parked on the adjacent Wilson St. Car was safe and it was free.

What are your thoughts on Arsenal mate?
My next door neighbour is an Arsenal fan and he still maintains Arteta is the right man for the job and that they aren’t far off being a half decent outfit.
