The point SB was making was an obvious one - I look at the comment as that and only that.
Egg shells? There’s no egg shells when you relate a football match to the Holocaust.
What it says to me is that some are may be a little too soft if they can’t get over a football game, even if it is a final. Dummy out of the pram, you could say.
He's not though. He is saying, and granted it is an opinion, that it is incontrovertible we lost the European Cup final as a result of Guardiola's ineptitude; just as it is a fact that the Holocaust took place. There is no effort made to compare a football match to the mass slaughter of millions of people on the grounds their race.
Anyone with half a brain knows that mate and as much as I think Beefy is a fucking pleb , I don’t think he’s thick , he was just looking to sensationalize Sheblues comment to cause a back lash on this thread .
It didn’t work as most folk on here are not arseholes .
Pleb? Arsehole? Sensationalise?
Firstly, there was no sensationalising anything, the sensationalising was within the post by making such a comparison. The actual sensationalism is what came after, that an age after a game, that some want to be the biggest City fan and show that they have the bigger disappointment than the rest, still calling our own manager silly names in order to garner further support for their grief stricken heart.
Every single City fan was disappointed that evening, just like anytime we’ve lost a game, and there’s a difference in how people deal with it. Most deal with the problem and get on with life as there’s usually bigger things to deal with while others harbour the pain and bring it up every time they have a bad moment, ie. blame anything and everything because they don’t know how to deal with disappointment. Some call them ‘Grief monkey’s’ whereas I look at it as a type of disorder that needs to be nurtured with the individual being looked after.
Anyway, mate, I’ll leave you to it and if you need a chat, just give me a shout.
