Just watching this and the speech Gundo gave before the CL semi deserves mentioning. Brilliant. Slur Alice spent a full day talking to PSG and Gundo was more inspiring in 40 seconds.

Makes it all that more of a piss take that he gave up the captaincy when Sterling came on, on Saturday.

Got to see this finally, was ok, nothing out of the ordinary, I would skip the last 10-15 minutes because of the obvious reasons.

But I am curious, does KDB look like a proper captain and leader to you?
Love the bloke, but he comes out more as a loaner than a leader. Gundo seems like a powerful voice in the dressing room, Ruben also, but not Kevin or even Sterling. Both of them come after Fern in the captain's ranks, right?

I am curious how they are selected? By the staff? By secret votes of the players? By their time here?

KDB and Sterling shouldn’t be anywhere near being our captain. I don’t care if the players want to vote for their mates - the captain shouldn’t be their mate.

Gundo was a very good voice (surprisingly) when we needed one. Fern too. But Dias stood out - came in and just lead in and out of the changing room straight away
