So when the players used to warm up before the match at the school across from Maine Road (can’t remember if it was Keegan or royal at the time that didn’t want them warming up on the pitch before the match) I was watching them warm up as a kid and when Granville came near the window I shouted, “Granville you're rubbish!!” He looked up at me and I’ve never felt so bad in my life. The main reason I shouted it was because I loved Tiatto and they were competing against each other.
I still want to apologise to him now!

He should brought his son up with a work ethic then instead of letting him be such an idle bastard. nicky was without doubt the most workshy player I have ever seen in a City shirt. I was one of the thousands in the.Kippax singing “there’s only one lazy bastard” at him and I 100% stand by that.
I have never liked mike summerbee and I never will.

Yeah, but it's a long way off . . .

Crazy to think he spent his best years playing for our shit side back then, Bolton and Fenerbahce. His brother and agent was a bigger wally than Kane's is. Actually, maybe not. He got to line his pockets while Nico was carted between teams well beneath his level.

That’s mental - I didn’t realise he was that young when we signed him. He’d been around forever before coming to us. He had a good stint at Chelsea as well after us.

I'd completely forgotten about Nico. Why on earth did he ever sign for us? Was there really nobody else who would have him?
