Just a matter of time and confidence on the big stage.

Enjoyed that. Was smiling when Wycombe scored, gave them a boost and something to talk about on the journey home.

Anyone know what the commentator was on about when he said Sterling going on loan to Barca in January.
First I've heard of it, though TBH, I've not been paying much attention.

If we allow that we’re 100% doing Barca a favour because of Pep and his bosses. It will piss me off.

A very good night's work, I enjoyed the game. The kids did really well. Particularly the left back, who's odd name I have forgotten and Lavia was Particularly impressive.
Well done lads.

PS pep has to keep Phil in midfield, its his natural position as replacement for David Silva.

Great call from Pep to play the kids, they brought so much to that game. When we conceded I was a little worried that their heads may drop but they continued to do what they were there for and gave superb performances.

Agreed. That game was a joy to watch and Pep, regardless of what he says, had a choice, or not.

I was more glad of the the lack of VAR, warts and all.

Kevin De Bruyne – 29'
Riyad Mahrez – 43'
Phil Foden – 45+1'
Ferran Torres – 71'
Riyad Mahrez – 84'
Cole Palmer – 89'

Yet Sterling didn't get subbed, its getting silly now, I like the lad but his head clearly isn't in the game and hasn't been for some time.

Maybe the Barca loan might help him sort his head out, I think he has been afforded enough playing time to sort his shit and it's not improving.

I can sort of see what Pep is trying to do, giving them every chance to play themselves back in. Foden always looks great but Kev only seemed a decent standard in the second half whereas Raz seemed to look better late on.

We will need every player to raise a challenge this season and Sterling might just be the difference if he can get him into shape. Foden will just be Foden and look like the Duracell Bunny while Kev just needs to trust that his ankle will take it.
