Anyone know if they were one of the teams that voted for FFP?

Who was that journalist that went missing during a visit to the Saudi embassy in Turkey (?) Iirc there was cctv of the guy entering the embassy but never leaving?
I bumped into Geordie down the pub a week or so ago, nice fella in his sixties, always told me that he liked us even post money.
Hadn't seen him since before COViD , so I was a little shocked when he said that he had no longer had respect for us over the Super League shit.
I did point out that we were not the main protagonists and first to pull out.
It will be interesting to see his views on his own club next time I see him!
