A class goal too. Well worked. Free flowing. Thank god we don't play "Blackburn long ball game"...

Happy to be there...relieved we got a result but don't deserve it. I've just looked at Stoke's record at the Britannia this season.

Chelsea Lost 2-1
United Lost 2-0
Liverpool Drew 1-1
Arsenal Won 3-1 (in Cup)
Fulham Won 3-2

Arsenal, Spurs Everton and Villa all have to play there yet. I think realistically we expected a very difficult game and got one, and no one has spanked them or been beaten by a margin this season, so what do we really expect?

Delighted to be in the top 4.

We're not playing our best but we're in there with a game in hand and a formidable home record!

It amazes that people expect us to dominate every game we play. It doesn't work like, particularly in this season. Stoke is a tough place to go and a draw isn't a bad result. If it wasn't for Shay's fuck up we most likely would have scored as we were on top. Great to see the side battle back and earn a point.

We missed Tevez and Bellamy but will have them back by the weekend and then can drop Santa Cruz to give us more threat up front.

We beat Liverpool and we're 4 points clear of them with a game in hand!

What annoys me is how we're just going nowhere fast. We were dreadful all game, have been for a few games now, and often look toothless in attack. Thing is, it's not even a matter of winning/gaining points in ugly fashion, because we're just threatening fuck all. Even Jose's Chelsea, when they were playing some horrible stuff, they were still banging on the opposition's door for 90 minutes to either rescue a point or go for all three. Yet constantly we're finding ourselves getting outplayed by lesser teams than ourselves and doing so right up until the end of injury time.

Something is deeply wrong in the current philosophy of the team. With Hughes, we shipped goals for fun, but we had an attitude of "if you score 4, we'll score 5". Didn't always pan out that way aye, but we attacked and attacked to the death. But with Mancini, we seem to go into every game with an attitude of containment. Whereas we previously told the league to give us a slap and we'll give you a headbutt, now we're just going into games with a mantra of "try my best not to get hit".

Don't know about anybody else, but I have always been a fan of the all guns blazing approach. And we just don't have that right now.

And can anybody explain to me why we play 2 big front men yet play our only crosser of the ball on the wrong flank?

give up with the stupid patronising bollocks. You are an intelligent man who is stubborn as fuck. THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE just admit it and stop being fucking delusional, celebrating a point against a shit team who had 10 men.

are you for real? I was up and down with pulse racing at 200 for last 20 minutes. And the buzz of equaliser!

Not the best performance and not the best result but certainly exciting.

Is it OK to be happy with reaching top 4, all right with having a draw away at Stoke but being a bit concerned by Roberto's tactic negativity?

We miss Bellers and Tevez desperately. Their zeal & tenacity gets us going, and without them we are shite. It was obvious by tonights performance we were there to avoid defeat.

I think Mancini wants us to go out and give it to Liverpool on Sunday and we'll have Bellamy back, and maybe Kompany, Bridge Petrov & Ireland starting for what is a much more important game. If we win and the game in hand, we'll be 7 points ahead of them with around 10 games to play

I didn't think our tactics were anywhere near spot on today. If SWP was fit today, then it's ridiculous that he didn't start. And what was that joke striker doing there?

But fact remains we are fourth now, whether it's because or despite Mancini is up for debate. But the actual position isn't. And yes, I'm happy about it. Sorry.
