I've seen your message to the board Nick so can't take anything you say seriously and this statement proves it...and they call MH clueless

Manx Blue wrote:KinkyKinkladze wrote:What annoys me is how we're just going nowhere fast. We were dreadful all game, have been for a few games now, and often look toothless in attack. Thing is, it's not even a matter of winning/gaining points in ugly fashion, because we're just threatening fuck all. Even Jose's Chelsea, when they were playing some horrible stuff, they were still banging on the opposition's door for 90 minutes to either rescue a point or go for all three. Yet constantly we're finding ourselves getting outplayed by lesser teams than ourselves and doing so right up until the end of injury time.
Something is deeply wrong in the current philosophy of the team. With Hughes, we shipped goals for fun, but we had an attitude of "if you score 4, we'll score 5". Didn't always pan out that way aye, but we attacked and attacked to the death. But with Mancini, we seem to go into every game with an attitude of containment. Whereas we previously told the league to give us a slap and we'll give you a headbutt, now we're just going into games with a mantra of "try my best not to get hit".
Don't know about anybody else, but I have always been a fan of the all guns blazing approach. And we just don't have that right now.
And can anybody explain to me why we play 2 big front men yet play our only crosser of the ball on the wrong flank?
We miss Bellers and Tevez desperately. Their zeal & tenacity gets us going, and without them we are shite. It was obvious by tonights performance we were there to avoid defeat.
I think Mancini wants us to go out and give it to Liverpool on Sunday and we'll have Bellamy back, and maybe Kompany, Bridge Petrov & Ireland starting for what is a much more important game. If we win and the game in hand, we'll be 7 points ahead of them with around 10 games to play

People complained less then too.

good lad...don't let the bitters get you down...4th with a game in hand will do me...point away against stoke is not as bad as these lot make out...half would have taken it before kick off
would they have taken it knowing they would be playing against a ten man stoke for most of the game? NO!
What bemuses/upsets me - the bit that devalues people's opinions so totally - is how different the reaction to absolutely everything about that game would've been if 'Clueless' was in charge.

'Tis true. Though I'd only apply it to fans on the internet.

That does to an extent include yourself though as well. Can't remember you ever being this upset about draw away. Or is it my selective memory again?
Anyway, this wasn't originally about the actual game but just to celebrate the fact that we are in there and it's all in our hands right now.

'tis ironic though, that the statement is coming from one of the very few people on here I've seen offering to fight other posters.
