Only someone like Wenger would propose a world cup every 2 years.

Bribery and corruption led to the Qatar world cup. Insane

I’m still disgusted we sold Otter and Kolarov.

No way would the cunt have proposed this if he'd still been at Arsenal. He'd be on of the ones crying the loudest

He’s in his 70,s so he’s on borrowed time and that’s why the selfish prick wants as much football as he can get , regardless of the fallout .

Fucking prick he is .

Football is changing on a yearly basis , trying to reinvent the fucking wheel -

Wankers

I’ve stopped watching international football (something I thought would never ever happen to me ) and I will probably pick and choose what City match to watch in thw future .

That’s all thanks to all the wankers whose mission is to create that mindset .

I think the last World Cup I actually enjoyed was in 2006, the German one.
After that something broke.

Nations tournaments in the 90s were pure class imho.

Yes and the demise of these tournaments is down to on issue -:

Sepp Blatter's 1998 election to the presidency of FIFA over UEFA President Lennart Johansson occurred amidst much controversy.[28][29] Blatter's 2002 candidacy has been marked with rumours of financial irregularities and backroom dealings,[30] culminating with direct accusations of bribery, by a third party, made in the British press by Farra Ado, vice-president of the Confederation of African Football and president of the Somali Football Federation, who claimed to have been offered $100,000 to vote for Blatter in 1998.[31]

Yes the appointment of this corrupt piece of shit is responsible for a lot of things that are coming home to roost now unfortunately.

Why would anyone want to go to Qatar to watch a football match ? and stay in a place where you cannot go to a bar for a drink? and stay there for weeks on end doing sod all except building sandcastles on the beach - like in Southport , because the sea is to far away to go for a swim ?

When you get Russia and Qatar, you know it’s a corrupt system.

They’re great place to visit but … football, not a chance.

In 2006 I went over to Munich for the Germany Vs. Sweden QF and a three night stay.
Podolski (2 goals), Ballack and Klose were excellent, Zlatan did not try a leg, Larsson tried but had an off day.
Great atmosphere, good humored banter, friendly locals, excellent beer, good looking women to admire (from a distance).
Took me a week to dry out.
It had everything needed for a great time, everything that Qatar will not have.
