I said I’d take 1-0 before the match. Wolves are very good defensively. This was never going to be easy. We’ve lost Cancelo and Rodri for the next match.

Take that. Wolves had been on a decent run of late only losing twice in the last eleven and one of those was to a 94th minute robbery by the dippers.

It’s the time of year where results are more important than the manner of victory and we were well below par today. Their goalie had a much busier second half and in truth kept the score down.

Ed got his 100th clean sheet and was largely untroubled throughout.

Four points clear so the onus is now on the chasing pack.
