PL Games December 18/19 What's left of them

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

No room to extend the season as the World Cup will make next season start early. Play the fixtures or lose the points. Teams have to declare 24 hours before the fixture if they are capable of playing or losing the point. If neither team say they can play then give both teams 1 point. If only one can play then they get 3 points.

No way the rags & scouse will lose points. I can give you that in writing.
I think all games should go ahead as scheduled, play kids, etc. Everyone is responsible for their decision to take the vaccine or not, imho.

Totally agree. If I was a chairman or owner and the players hadn't had full vaccine dosage, unless medically exempt, I would be withholding wages.

Whilst I totally agree with this, others will play the civil liberties card, and that's when you run into difficulties

Fuck civil liberties, everyone also has a moral responsibility that seems forgotten about by some soft twats.

Agree. Sadly, here is the issue worldwide with this, not just football-wise. Forcing them will turn into a fiasco.
Just look at Le Tissier and his conspiracies.

Keep politics off the board lads. Some of you sound like cunts but you’re actually decent people

I don't want to get all conspiracy theorist, however getting a bit suspicious of all these postponements, what transparency have we got here? Is it taken at face value that players have tested positive? It might suit certain teams to have games called off.

I think they need to get rid of Bielsa. Never liked them, but would rather have them in the league than the rags and scouse B teams.

It’s got to be over for Bielsa soon, surely!

3

The third looked offside to the naked eye based on the lines of grass. Leeds are woeful at the back and this could get ugly

4-1 now. Leeds have been well and truly beaten.

Bet they have plenty of COVID going through the camp in time to cancel the next fixture

Leeds severely weakened but they’re not too good to go down.
