What a crucial three points. Kudos to Joao for having the guts to play. Not at his best but it would have been surprising if he was. Hopefully Walker and Foden will be fit for Chelsea although Riyad will be gone to the AFCON. Mind the gap!

I’ve never heard such biased commentary in my life .
I had to turn it off .

Absolutely happy with that result but totally disappointed with how it was portrayed. Just proved that it’s no longer about integrity in reporting, it’s all about selling the brand to the masses for the likes of BT/Sky.

Take the points, footballs integrity has gone.

If Liverpool had done what we’d just done the media and pundits would be saying “Brilliant! What champions are made of!” Bitter fuckers!!

Brilliant win. Our most important of the season? I’d have settled for a draw and if we’d lost it wouldn’t have been the end of the world. But that’s just class. I can’t believe we’re watching a team that wins every week.

Jake the snake needs to be trampled - bad enough with Tarquin cheerleaders on commentary but then him!
Two VAR calls, ours a clear penalty theirs clearly not - really simple.

What's all this crying about VAR? They got it right today.
And I wouldn't just like to say Fuck off Martin Keown.

Macpointy said if ref had given a pen he would have agreed, but then said because he didn't give it they ahould not have overturned it, what a bellend, its either a pen or it isn’t. If they hadn't given it they are effectively saying you can pull shirts in the area, beyond bias

Loving the way Rio and Lescott when asked how this would look to the dipper and chav players watching, both said it would be gutting. To have a glimmer of hope and then have it snuffed out like that in injury time. Brilliant.

I think early subs could have won it sooner, but that will do. Now a draw or a Chelsea win will be fantastic.

For me, finally, it dropped another pin: we need another center back. Stones is a liability and cannot be trusted. Fit and focused he is one of the best in the game, but that is 3 out 10 games. Laporte cannot be trusted in crucial games. Sure, he will do with Burnley, Leeds etc, but in big games, he is a ticking bomb. His panics and lack of attention will ultimately cost us in the UCL, like it did three times already.

Sure, it will not happen, we have other priorities, but at some point we need to do this.

I think we're a bit spoilt mate. Remember all those scrappy wins the "great" rag team won week after week?

Were used to winning 4 or 5

We are, clearly, but this one was huge. It will count in the final table because I might be wrong, is the first last-minute win we had in the last 3 seasons. In contrast, both red shites have their late wins very often. It's a nice feeling.

I am just annoyed with some players that really fail to step up and are just content for being here, but often offer fuckall in return.
