I bet KDB gets injured playing against these hackers .

Considering what we've got we've been crap in this cup. Cheated once or twice but the better you are the less likely that is

You underestimate and disrespect the oppo Carl. No reason to give our players 2 weeks off. Manchester City need to put out a team to try and win the fa cup. Not develop the careers of some players who might be playing for Swindon in 2 years.

Pep put out a youthful team against Wycombe. There was nothing disrespectful about that.

Shhhhhhhhhh don’t start pointing out facts ffs !!

6 youth players started that game .

Looks like we're balls-deep in this cup campaign judging by the lineup.

It was supposed to be seven isolating wasn’t it? As far as the Chelsea game is concerned Steffen can perfectly well fill in for Emerson if it comes to it. Foden should be back training soon. Ditto Zinchenko who won’t start. Grealish wouldn’t have started anyway. Sterling might have though. Will he back in time? Fernandinho would have been on the bench. All in all Pep will be back and we should have a strong side on Saturday week no further positives permitting.

We demolished Wycombe whilst giving the kids a chance - which most of them took! I can’t understand why that game but not this?

I can't say I'm not disappoined, Bernardo, Dias and Cancelo should be rested. I expected at least three youths to start. We could have started with three and still looked solid. I was looking forward to seeing McAtee start.

I also think Pep wasn’t keen on a two week gap between games for many of our likely starters against Chelsea.

the irony is that when we put out a strong team in games like this the 1st team players will half-arse it and we often struggle. at least the kids would run hard if we ever gave them a chance!

Eh? I wasn’t expecting that team, thinking that there’d be a couple more young’ens. However, Rodolfo’s just confirmed that they are ‘Respecting the Cup’ and I’d expect, with the 5 subs in the FA Cup, that we’ll see a couple later.

As they say, get the lead and then rest players, if needed.
