I find it a bit funny how the ”journos” are all over the subject of Newcastle going out and how they were humiliated and yada-yada.
Imho, what they did was smart. the Cup is the last thing they need right now. They should have a single objective: avoid relegation.
Fuck the rest.

True. But winning football matches breeds confidence which can then be translated into the PL. They have won one match this season. And I guess that was Eddie Howe’s thinking as well with the side he put out.

Fortunately, we don't meet them until third to last game of the season so things will probably be decided by then .

Liverpool match being played today? I don’t understand how they’re able to field a team today but not a few days ago?! Arsenal should be kicking off (like they love to do).

Every player turning out for the dippers this afternoon could have done so in the Carabao midweek - it got postponed because it suited both teams. PL is corrupt to the core.

Funny. The rags have fallen so far the fa aren't even bothering to wait for their match. Always in the past it would be after their Monday night game.

You can only ask for a home draw. Can’t be taken for granted but we really should progress.

I like Fulham. I remember them being down there with us. Only ground I’ve been to where it was standing and I loved it.
