***Norwich v Champs Official Match Thread***

Postby Mase » Sat Feb 12, 2022 3:22 pm

I thought it may have been bad luck if I started the match thread against Brentford, but we won. So maybe if I do it for Norwich we’ll win again?

I know we have Sporting this week but I’m hoping for a strong team tonight. We can’t let Liverpool get any closer.

Get an early goal and we should be fine.

Hoping for a better result than the last time we played Norwich away

Last 3 away at Carrow Road:

Lost 3-2
0-0
0-0

And when we lost last season, we’d beaten them at our place 5-0, which we also did this season.

Ominous?

I’d suggest we cannot take them lightly, especially as they’re on their best run to date.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

I think we will absolutely smash them tonight. 6-1.
They've hit a bit of form and probably will open up slightly more than they usually would, thinking they can get something. And we will punish them.

Take any old scruffy win to be honest. At this stage it points that matter not how they are accrued

That said, I think we should and will win fairly comfortably

Them being more open isn's guaranteed Noolie Mate.

For Norwich, their league table is all bout those in the relegation zone.
The calculation is that all of their nearest rival will lose to City, some heavily and if Norwich ;ose, itisn't a big deal. If Norwich can stop us and get a draw, it will be a very valuable point. If they lose today, but can do so by less than their rivals, they gain in the GD dept in their battle for survival.

I doubt if they will open up, ;leave space and take the chance to let us in.
They daren't risk losing heavily.

Resting for Lisbon eh? Despite always saying we don’t.

Revise my prediction from 5-0 to 3-0

WTF! I had Kev as my Fantasy captain this week. He better stay on that bench and not be subbed on in the 85th minute.

De Bruyne Laporte Rodri Cancelo all rested obviously half an eye on Tuesday. Should be enough and plenty of strength on the bench.
