Its a non story that they have manufactured into an issue that suits their agenda to slag of City and big up the 'always the victim...never their fault' dippers.

The only issue for me is that; no matter what they say, we got all three points and still sit pretty right at the top of the Prem.
And in truth, that is the only thing that really does matter.

Best poster on this board for years and years .

I agree. Here’s my favourite post of his -

john68 wrote:City64, You raised the issue about taxi fares and accents, I merely asked for you to use your expertise and clarify an issue for practical purposes.
You are right about me being a cunt but for the wrong reasons.

Not sure if it is protocol to add a smiley here.

Anyway, back on topic, do you by any chance; take recreational drugs, fix games, are you gay or racist?
Are you, or were you ever,a professional footballer?

jus asking

Not sure I remember that post nor the context that surrounded it.
Also not sure I remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, nor where I put my glasses and cigs.
But if I owe an apology...I apologise.
It did make me chuckle though.

Back on topic....Normal service resumed
1) We win and get another three points. It's what we do.
2) The Scousers are given another chance to moan and cry. It's what they do.
3) The media make a big issue about a non story that involves something negative about City. It's what they do.
4) The referee and those in charge of them make a bollocks of the whole thing and fail to clarify anything. It's what they do.
AND....
5) My glasses have gone missing, It's what they do.

All is normal in this abnormal World...time to move on and have a brew[/quote]

It was about a decade ago John . Mase has a thing about re posting posts from a long time ago totally out of context with how the board was back then , lively spontaneous and a laugh . He is a strange one a Goldbridge wannabe but with just 2 site disciples must be very difficult for him spending so much time on here and getting so little attention . So many posters have left because of him , a few have come back for short stints for the time being . Keep posting John it’s a breath of fresh air for the site and MCFC followers .
Not really here

From the Beeb..............

Everton have received an apology from the head of the professional referees body Mike Riley after they were denied a penalty in the 1-0 defeat by Manchester City on Saturday.

The Toffees wrote to the Premier League to complain about the decision when Manchester City midfielder Rodri seemed to use his arm to control the ball.

Neither referee Paul Tierney nor video assistant referee Chris Kavanagh deemed it was worthy of a spot-kick despite complaints from fans and Everton boss Frank Lampard.

Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) boss Riley called both Lampard and Everton chairman Bill Kenwright on Monday to apologise for the incident, which could prove costly to the club's bid to stay in the Premier League.

Everton are 17th in the table, one place and one point above Burnley, who host Leicester in the Premier League on Tuesday (19:45 GMT).

Kavanagh will be the referee for that match.

"We've lost a point because of a professional who cannot do his job right. It is so incompetent to get it wrong," Lampard said following the game at Goodison Park.

Saw this last night in the boozer whilst SLY continuously showed a slowed down version of the non handball. Wonder whi we are playing next in the Prem.........exactly like the witch hunt they did on Aguero after a game with west ham the game before a derby. Absolute bunch of corrupt fcukers

It's a joke this Mike Riley apology. Did we get one at Anfield when Milner would have been sent off and he booked someone else.

What about Terence Trent shitbag playing basketball in the dippers penalty area, they booted the ball upfield and scored whilst we were still appealing for a pen, fucking scandalous decision but no apology for that one
