Avoid Liverpool and Bayern until the final. Should beat Atletico and then it’s Chelsea or Real. Decent chance of reaching the final. Dippers get it easy in the Quarters and then likely a very tough draw against Bayern Munich. Hope it’s a Tuesday before the League match against the Dippers. Extra day to rest and prepare,

Chavs get their first leg switched from home to away - how's that happened?

We've got the measure of Chavs and Real whoever we might get out of the two. No brain farts from Pep and we should see Athetico although it won't be easy.

Have the dates for the matches been announced? If they stick to the draw then we should be at home on Tuesday 5th while Liverpool would be away in Benfica on Wednesday 6th before our game on the 10th

Man City/Atletico Madrid v Chelsea/Real Madrid
will be tough games trying to break down AM.
AM went out to Liepzig and Chelsea in the last two years.
Chavs Real is pretty well matched imo

We’re clearly the best team in our half of the draw.
Ultimately comes down to if Pep decides to screw us over with his stupid team selection and tactics.
He’s done it every year so far. I thought he’d learned his lesson last year but he couldn’t resist doing it in the final.
There’s nothing to suggest he won’t do it again this year. You can only hope his assistants raise it with him as the recurring problem.
Liverpool and Bayern are the 2 other strongest sides and would probably be our most difficult test so I’m glad they have to face each other.
Atletico is a tough game for us but it is one we should be winning.

AM have conceded 36 goals this season - the most out of the top 8 in La Liga. They conceded 3 against Getafe the other week. If we struggle against them then there’s something wrong.

I read that it was because Atletico and Real Madrid were both drawn at home and both sides can’t play at home at the same time. So they switched one of the games around.

Why not play one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday and stick to the draw.

Stars aligning ?
I have it on good authority that if Carl prays hard enough they will end up with just the League Cup
