I see the bbc are referring to our”expensively assembled squad” in their item about the cup tie today. I can’t remember seeing that for the rags or Chelsea or the dippers. It’s always there.

Expect more of this developing narrative, Neville has made sly digs at our owners and he, for some strange reason, is the media darling

Yes he's turning the screw alright. Coming from position of high praise so it doesn't look obvious when he actually goes full on.
He really is revelling in this new role he created for himself. A role where he can talk politics whenever he wants. And takes the hugh ground on every opportunity, which is so far removed from the type of player and person he was.
He's making a lot of high profile enemies, I'd be surprised if he's not too far away from his first fuck up

When you give the press ammunition then do not be surprised to get negative press.
In my opinion , its disgraceful he met with him or has any dealings with him .................but there again I find it even more disgraceful that the UK are in the top 5 in the world selling weaponry to countries who commit human rights abuses and worse.
The hypocrisy is deafening.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

The MP they quote who has potentially a questionable past.
Not sure his leaving the priesthood was all his choice........
He was ordained deacon in 1986 and priest in 1987. He served as a curate at the Church of All Saints, High Wycombe from 1986 to 1989 and then as a
Youth Chaplain in Peterborough, as well as
travelling in Latin America In 1991 Bryant left the ordained ministry, after deciding that
being gay and being a priest were incompatible. Statements made by Richard Harries, the then-Bishop of Oxford also influenced his decision

Rumours that he saw a picture of Kolarov and decided he didn’t like women anymore.

No idea how long Sky have advertising this and yes I've had a few beers
They are going with a documentary about the attempt of the "Super League"
Is this an attempt to protect their Europen strangle hold ala Sky Italia etc etc?

Article on Sky about how the dippers are facing a fixture congestion headache. Thought we had now played the same number of PL games and thus we will both have the same number of fixtures left

Quadruple talk ramping up nicely.
Another three weeks of mounting pressure on the Dippers before our PL game.
Before then I expect they will have beaten Watford and have one foot in the CL semis after their away leg at Benfica.
Ramping up the media hype to a frenzy by the time they play us.
Excellent.

What I don't understand is why are we so confident they will fuck up or slip (pun intended)?
They are a team that has a lot of media & FA Support, also a great schedule & history of teams bending over in key moments. Don't want to start with the dopey agenda, but all in all, they have momentum and a big chance, while we went for the similar thing with everything against us. Everything is set for the to succede.
Add to that, we really are super shaky at the moment, an accident waiting to happen.
So, really, where is the confidence coming from?

We are capable of beating them, or even just about fav to beat them - but only if we play at our maximum concentration and on song etc, which we can do nd have done in many big games.
So i see why we can be confident. But i'd rekon most city fans would also accept that we would have to be on full burners, as we have to contain them and navigate the bent officials at the same time.
Then there is Pep thunking he has to 'do' something.

I also think we are going to beat them, but don't know if in both games. What I don't get is why the confidence they will implode? They will slip up under the pressure.
The way I see it, only us and the german rags can stop them at the moment from reaching the finals.

Yeah i dont get the implosion bit. I guess they have history of it underpressure, plus, might be wrong but aren't they coming up to a load of crunch games - more than they have had to deal with before? they usually go out of the FA cup. So maybe they have a test coming they dont normally experience.
Anyway i'd go for the option they will stay strong or lucky and we will be the ones that have to deal with it by outplaying them when the time comes.

The thing with the dippers is, I don't think I've seen a team who ride the wave of euphoria like they do. And atm that wave is huge. It does worry me that they could carry on the run. Even when they play crap they're getting decisions and scraping wins. I don't like it.

Can I start with the doping narrative? I am eager to
