I thought people would enjoy this superb video of an Indian fans journey of discovery about City and how passionate he now is about the Club.

Day trippers unfortunately come with the success and glory. Ground is made up with a lot of them in a lot of chumps league games. Half and half scarves I have no time for at all especially the derby ones

Whether folks take offence or not, this song is still doing the rounds. Particularly with the awsy following. Was sung in Lisbon and will be heard in Madrid. Do I sing it no, does my 14 year old daughter yes, it amuses the youngsters but no need for the adults to fall out

Isn't it not a bit ironic taking a dig at armchair and so called day trippers. When probably over 90% of the squad and coaching staff are from the international community!!

But half and half scarfs should be banned. Silly things.
And people who dress in full kit need a good slap.

The ironic thing is that City64 is an “armchair” fan for 50% of City games. I’ve never seen him comment about going to away games but I’m sure he’ll pretend he does now.

You're right, whether you're so called armchair or been going to matches for 64 years it's irrelevant, half scarfs should be banned from football, any city supported wearing half scarf with half rag or vermins should be strangled by that same scarf

There was loads of them at the derby, i don't get it. If i was on holiday in Spain and managed to get a ticket for Barca/ RM I'd just watch the football- wouldn't dream of pissing off the fanbase wearing a pointless scarf that would never be worn again.

I am against half and half scarves and think they should be banned......however i am taking my kid to his first game against Athletico and i think he will want one as a momento for his first match so will likely get one. I guess for the day trippers/new generation its the equivalent of getting a programme?

I always wondered what they did with the ones they didnt sell?
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just get him a City scarf and buy him a programme as a momento.
Problem solved.

50/50 scarfs are for politicians, a foot in every camp so you cannot lose, no sincerity, no trust, no backbone.
Tell to pick one side, stay loyal to that side through thick and thin. Character building.
If that side turn out to be shite so be it but if and when they win, the joy is pure and very very real.
