Atletico have Mallorca on Saturday. We have Liverpool on Sunday. Advantage Atletico.

There’s something wrong if we can’t score a good few against a team that has Savic in defence.

To be honest, Savic progressed since his days here. Wouldn't mind have him today in the squad, nice back-up.

AM have done well recently, winning 6 on the trot, which looks very good until you see who they actually played. They beat United 2-1 on aggregate and in previous years you would say that it would have been a very good result but, in this era, not so much when you consider we beat them 6-1 on aggregate. They are good, Champions prove that, and it will be a really difficult game with their tactics, but I reckon we’ve got more than enough to beat them.

Quietly confident over 2 legs, would not get arrogant though as their are factors outside our control.

They just a long interview with Wiekens on Dutch telly with footage from the play-off final. Wiekens is a sound lad. Still says "we" when he talks about City.

I snook into the ground and changing rooms after we played Bury in a friendly and Wiekens gave me his towel and had a decent chat about City with me. Must have been around 2002

That's how I see it. Decent enough line up, considering the matches wa have

Pulled out the Warsteiner again for this one. Worked at weekend, hopefully just as comprehensive.
