I don't understand the point of Bernie as a false nine and putting long balls in the box for him.
What's the point?

On the bright side our defence has played well, particularly Ake and Laporte. They haven’t had a sniff and neither have we. They’re defending deep and every time Mahrez and Sterling get the ball they’re double marked. Bernie has no space and Kev can’t get anything to come off.

Not concerned yet. Game is exactly what we would have expected. We are controlling game. They are two banks of five.

We're just one pass away from splitting them open, it's coming.

when they attack which isn't often, we get the ball and wait till they are all back in their own half, pass backwards all the time, and they stand and watch us do it, need to hit the 2nd half quickly and move the ball forward not keep going back

back to the beer

Was about to write the same.

Team not able to suss it out. HT chat may come up with what to do, or we will need to bring on some others to have a go.

One chance to crack them open is all it needs

Cancelo needed to wipe Griezman out there.

The fans knew this game would be like this. Pep must have known. Yet we don’t have an answer.

That’s where a centre forward is needed.

How about we have an actual shot at goal, from open play , first ?
