If he is a Manchester rag he should be fair as he probably hates City and Dippers will be interesting.

His family are all rags but all rags would rather we won it as the dippers are only 1 title behind them.

To be fair, two officials from Manchester and Greater Manchester for a City vs Liverpool match is a bit dodgy. If they had two from Merseyside I’d be going mad.

They did not complain when Mike Dean was ref at their recent win at Brighton where they got the usual pen too

Most important thing Sunday for me is getting it right down our left. Alexander Arnold is great going forward and creates loads for them but shit defensively so we need to keep attacking him and keep him at the opposite end of the pitch. Robertson is shit scared of Foden as seen in the hammering we gave them last season so I'd have Grealish on the left, Foden right.

I’d agree with that. It’s harsh on Mahrez as he’s been class this season, but we need to be direct with their FBs.

Definitely, we could even play Mahrez as the false 9 if he has Bernie, Rodri and Kev in midfield.

True. Gundo seems like he likes playing against Liverpool though and he’ll keep hold of the ball well. Bernie hasn’t been great recently but he despises Liverpool so I’d have thought he’ll give his all. It’s a tough one.

Unfortunately, for the scouse we have the options. I think Pep not starting Foden and Grealish last night means they start on sunday. Like the game with the red shite, I expect us to target the full backs and for that Foden has to start on the left, possibly Grealish right but id expect Kev, Bernie, Gundo to be buzzing around and generally not giving them any time. We have to start quickky and put these fuckers away

Phil needs to play, but as winger. Left or right, he caused problems to Arnold and Robertson.

For me it should be
Eddie - Walker, Stones, Laporte, Cancelo - Fern, Gundog, Bernie - Grealish, Kevin, Foden.

I think Fern needs one last big rodeo.

They will play long balls and target Laporte and Walker, imho.

Disagree with the front six.
Fern has not got the legs anymore, he would be targeted and could easily get a red.
I don't like Gundog and Kevin in the same team, they seem to nullify each other.
Liverpool's very high line can be exploited by pace, i.e. Foden and Sterling.
Also think Kyle has a big part to play with his pace.
I agree they will target the two center backs and I think they will bypass midfield hitting their runners with diagional balls.
So my front six would be: Rodri, Kev, Berni - Foden, Grealish, Sterling.
If we need to shake things up we have a bench that includes: Mahrez, Gundo and Jesus.

Pep said after the break another 2 weeks which takes us to the semi.
Laporte/Dias most of the season, Laporte/ Stones games like Chelsea and last night. Laporte/ Ake at Burnley. Common denominator is we hardly concede so I'm not too worried.

But what if he is not gonna start Walker and play Ake on the left and Cancelo on the left.
Could you blame him after Ake's performance last night? He also has the pace to take on Salad.

Fern will be and should be nowhere near the starting XI.
