In the words of 64, AM were a total embarrassment.

You’ve got a guy with a man bun that’s thinking he’s hard kicking people and waving his arms around.

You’ve got a guy spitting at people in the tunnel.

You’ve got a guy that looks like a more drugged up version of Richard Ashcroft that’s going round pulling hair like an 8 year old girl.

You’ve got a manager that runs off like a coward at full time because he’s so embarrassed of his pubie fake hair piece.

They made Suarez look like an angel.

So, so strange lads like this are put in charge of protecting not only the laws of the game, but the players who play it.

It was the closest I've ever seen a modern game played with what was essentially no referee.

Anyway, Holy fuck. We've got balls of steel. Everyone on commentary and in the studio has said the same. Soft City left the room a long time ago.

I fucking love this team. I fucking LOVE this club.

I think the ref was frightened. I read an Atletico journalist's view of the match earlier. Atleti were excellent and only stopped from going through by the shameful time-wasting of Guardiola's men. Basically.

That journo needs to go back and watch the first leg to see what time wasting looks like! Our only "time wasting" yesterday was when players were receiving treatment after being assaulted by those thugs. It was like watching a re-run of a 1960s Argentina.

He is a dirty fucker, but he didn't say something bad about us after the first leg and not even now.
I've read a few days ago that when he started as a manager, Pep invited him to join him at Barca to attend training.

Read that Pep said, not exact translation" That fucker will be a great manager".
They have a strange mutual respect.

Dirty, dirty club, but they are not hiding what they are, as you said.

When asked out Atleti's 'physicality' he said something to the effect that they were playing probably the best team in the world and the only thing that matters to him is to win, nothing else. Only regret is that they are out.

He has his way and to be fair he is unapologetic about it and he sticks to what he knows.

Is it to everyone’s taste? No, not by a long shot
Is it successful? Yes, they are the reigning Spanish champions and have a very decent pedigree in the CL

Football has many different guises and his is one of the them. And sometimes to win you have to overcome many different obstacles, which last night we did with one of our most impressive away rearguards we have seen. We basically out Atleticoed Atletico

There were posters on here wanting Simeone as a successor to Pep a couple of years ago. You can see they can play football so why resort to the horrible tactics that he does. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.
We were magnificent last night, Ederson was cool and composed and made a couple of great saves near the end. Laporte and Stones were superb, both full backs really good. Ake was great when he came on. That was a true performance from a team who we've always known can play brilliant football but proved last night we can dig really deep and win ugly as well.

Special mentions for Zinch and Grealish for their involvement in the punch-ups!

Zinch always loves getting involved, bless him. He’s always sticking up for our players.

Grealish is £100m well spent just for winding up their players by breathing.

Watching to the BBC treatment of our match this morning makes me physically sick. "UEFA launch investigation and City are in big trouble".

We are in big trouble for being kicked off the park.......one of our players headbutted.......one of our players spat at.....one of our players hair pulled.......one of our players physically dragged off the pitch......yeah can see why we would be in big trouble!

To be fair, on this occasion it refers to injuries to players ahead of the dipper game, and quoting Pep after match comments

you need to focus on the straplines to see what they are at - continuous negative bias and negative associations - please don't come on here defending the BBC today - also note the use of quotation marks around 'deserved'

Pretty sure Pep meant we were in big, big trouble, like getting slaughtered

Or, as SKY see it, big trouble with injuries heading into the next games

To be fair to JC - what he is pointing out is the way the BBC are twisting the headlines, so that casual readers who dont click on it just see the Headline and it's twisted narrative. Which is done on purpose and is disinformation and also shows clearly where the BBC are coming from and the antagonistic and unacceptable angle they keep promoting - no better than Sunday Sport

JC is right to call this out
