With that defence Ederson should have started just for the extra confidence to a weak defence.
That's fucking obvious.

Zinch was a gamble.
Fern is a gamble.
None of the front players are able to take responsibility, Grealish poor and Foden very poor.

Whole team looked hesitant, no movement and no first time passing particularly at the front.

Poor selection yes but NO FUCKING LEADERS OUT THERE

Play your best team , every time !!!
I’d suggest Baldie takes a leaf out of Klopps management style and play your best team in semi finals !!

The fucking knives will be out for pep if he doesn’t win one of the prem/CL

Anything less than a win in one of them and he can fuck off !

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I did - the team picked gifted the competition to them.

Of course, but to be that far off it and a mistake like that from Steffen, you’d think they’d at least try to close it down a bit.

It is difficult to comprehend he can be that arrogant and that stupid again. Virtue signalling is the root of the problem - he wants everybody to know what a nice guy he is by playing the squaddies and the ageing legend. Meanwhile they are now reporting the Hillsborough memorial minute before kick off was cut short by Oliver because of City fans shouting. BBC loving every second of this.

Nottingham forest ran them close with average players!
Players take some blame but to play two defenders that never developed a partnership against a potent attack is asking for trouble. I'd rather played half fit Dias and Ake on left. I've never felt comfortable with stiffy in big games.

I thought L******** were awful in that half - tells you all you need to know about how bad we were.

We’ve even somehow managed to actually help them chase us down in the league, by treating them to a training session. Atleti were also shattered at FT on Wednesday, but who thinks they wouldn’t be giving this lot a better game.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer

The fact they thought it was appropriate to hold a minutes silence for something that happened so long again is just fuckin stupid. Get over it.
