Always thought the FA Cup hinders us in our CL quest ;-)

all too little too late.

Seven changes and only screw ups meant we lost to their strongest team.

Interested to hear what Guardiola has to account for that first half shit show. I'd understand City fans not bothering going to cup games because this is yet another occasion in the later rounds that Pep fucks up the selection with disastrous over-rotation. If the PL and CL are it and only it, fine. Well, no, but you know what I mean.

The miss by Jesus with 20 to go was crucial. Would have made for a much more interesting match.

At least we didn't get spanked. It was looking that way for a while.

Pep should have made changes at 60 mins. Really bad management from Pep today.

Not acceptable - played the worst line up possible instead of the best side available .

This loss is on the managers head .

Ps - I bet pep will say it was an excellent game and well down to Liverpool .

This isn’t the end of the world boys. It’s massively disappointing to go out to these, but the bigger picture is more important.

Some players got a much needed rest. Kev isn’t as injured as we thought. Ake is playing well and hopefully can do a job at LB for a while.

I’d be gutted if I was down at Wembley today and I feel for those fans.

If we don’t beat Brighton THEN it’s panic mode.

Steffan has been poor when he’s been given opportunities this season. He can head home in the summer and let’s bring back this kid on loan at Pompey.

Pep lost this by himself ( dejavú) - we actually lost before a ball was kicked with his shit line up .

If we do not win one of the remaining cups available then PeP can go fuck himself .

It's deja vu all over again.

I really can't remember I've sat back after a loss and said: they were better than us.
It's either we are robbed, or a colossal fuck up like today happens.
It's hard to say anything more, I hope Jesus and Sterling will leave in the summer, but it won't happen.

There are two things that will always be our downfall with him: Arrogance and not accepting some players are just bang average.

I am disappointed, they are favorites now to win the quadruple.
And I am really sad for the fans today that made the trip, they don't deserve this, they really don't.

Never good to lose but got back some respect in the 2nd half. We had chances to equalise and was fairly happy with what we did later where we could’ve had a couple more.

I think if we end this season with nothing Pep will leave when his contract finishes.

Too many individual errors at both ends of the field. That loses you the match.

Next season, Trafford in, Steffen out.

Zinchenko needs looking after/an extended break, the poor sod.

Is Alvarez replacing Sterling? We could make a tidy profit there and be no worse off.

Not sure how we could replace Bernardo if he wants to leave. I hope he doesn't.

Fernandinho was miles off the pace and utterly awful in the first half. That is why you are not getting offered a new deal as a player, mate.

Some subs would have been nice because that was shit, by and large.

If you are going to go long in the last few minutes, bring Delap or throw a central defender forward. High balls to Sterling aren't going to do it really.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I am absolutely furious with Pep, no thought for the fans who payed all that to get to Wembley fucking ridiculous and that goalkeeper should never play for the first team again, Zinchenko was a fucking joke Fern should have been taken off, total shambles and now dippers have the momentum add to that Bernardo was out of position Mahrez was left our god I am fucking fed up

Seems like Pep isn't really bothered with domestic cups this season. Will backfire big time if he fails to win the PL and champion league now.

Feel sorry for Steffen. Apparently in bits at the end. Obviously he tried his best but Ederson should have played. When you’re up against a first class high pressing side and you play Pep football you need Ederson.
