Hes excess baggage who gets paid as if hes the star player.
Get rid this summer.

Sterling cannot and never will be a clinical finisher.
Therefore, in the big games he is unreliable.
That is of no value to us.
Sell him this Summer and do not allow him hang around for a year running down his contract.
BTW last year he was a disgrace. He did not try a leg for City then turned it on for England.
Good luck and goodbye.

After doing the unthinkable and heading iver to read tolmies posts on haaland, sounds like we want to shift sterling. Does he play him loads to try and get him to agree to a transfer this year?
Id tell him he wont play much next season, its world cup year, we should have the cards for once.

Ah Liam - did you ever see the Matrix?
Basically Tolmie is the Oracle. Except he's the Oracle of Bluemoon.

Funnily enough I watched an hour of the first one and called it a day

But I get the feeling he’s someone that talks bollocks on Bluemoon and is occasionally correct and then dines off that for years?

My brother, who’s a dippers fan, said to me after last weekends game that Razzer was the exact same for them - full of promise but could not finish. The reality is that’s he’s done well sometimes in a team that creates a multitude of chances. But he’s really never delivered in big games. Sure there have been last minute goals that won games a few years back, but they were against teams that we should have won against. But he has never scored against the dippers in all the years he’s been here.
I think we thank him for his service and let him go. He’s not what we need.

I’d not sell him yet. I’d like to see how he fares in a team where he is a provider rather than having the pressure of being the finisher. The reason he does so well for England is that he is the provider and not the striker. I want to see him play with Haaland before I write him off.
I think he still could have plenty to offer.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

For all that iknow I berate him for, I do believe that there is some substance in this. The issue that I see now though is IF we can get and keep Palmer fit, I'd rather see him and Mcateer taking up rhat spot. Money for Sterling and Gabs with recruitments coming in is the way forward- no pun intended

Palmer is already showing that he’ll replace Sterling at some point. We’ll have Grealish, Palmer, Foden, Mahrez, Bernardo - all that can play in the wide positions and do a very good job. This kid from Argentina will likely play as one of the wide positions in the front 3 as well.
