There was no booking for the follow through on Foden. This this Phil Dawkes even watch the game?

Check the main headlines now...

"Tunnel brawl" etc etc

Seen earlier while scrolling a title from Talkshite "Disgraceful Atletico Madrid accused of endangering Man City, but Talk Sport host loved it"
Didn't bother to check who the host was, but fuck me, how low can you be as a pundit/journo.

Now change it to rags/scouse instead of City and I can guarantee you something like that would never be allowed.

Fucking amazing how these cunts get away with this like that.

Media discussions seem to exclude the following:

Dippers easy CL QF, easy CL SF(on paper), PL Rags and Souse1 next up at Klanfield both beyond shite, well rested for FA cup SF. A lot of 50/50 VAR decisions go Dipper's way (a la Sterling goal).

City kicked to pieces either side of both Dipper games. Consequently, key players injured, tired, not rested and suspended.

Fantastic, they managed to somehow make it about the rags and that one time when they played Galatasaray

Well it must have been great entertainment for the neutral - they weren't biting their fingernails like us. Hell, even my missus was shouting at the telly - normally on Euro nights she fucks off to bed to watch some dross

US owned TalkSport, SKY and our own rag/dipper infested state broadcaster BBC are all at it - is there no end to this disgusting anti-arab media agenda? BBC national news just now, their sports reporter John Watson clearly implying City were jointly responsible for the carnage last night. "UEFA investigation launched after police were involved in tunnel fighting and Pep Guardiola admits his side are in big trouble...." Blatant smears and relentless negative bias - he then went on to extensively praise "impressive Liverpool still chasing all four trophies".

the British Bias Corporation take -

"Foden needed patching up early in the game after receiving a stray arm to the back of the head from Felipe"

Foden and Felipe clashed again late in the game, with Stefan Savic also getting involved

Pep's "big trouble" comment was in connection with the injuries to Walker and de Bruyne and nothing to do with any off the field incidents. Any intimation that it was to do with some UEFA investigation into trouble is troublemaking by the press.

Deliberate, dishonest, deceitful and despicable - this is the way the BBC are currently trying to distort national perceptions of our club

What is most important to point out here is the difference with what the BBC SHOULD HAVE FUCKING REPORTED IN IT'S HEADLINES.

As an English team going to the bear pit of the spanish champions and being subjected to what they were and overcoming that with grit and professional calm

what the fucking fuck - where is our national broadcaster ?

WHERE IS OUR NATIONAL BROADCASTER AND WHY ARE THEY NOT EULOGISING ABOUT A PERFORMANCE BAR NONE IN EUROPE BY AN ENGLISH TEAM ?

I've noticed and pointed out yesterday, saw the highlights of the Chavs vs Madrid and Tyler and Smith were dying every time Chelsea scored. To be honest, I was not paying attention in the past, but I reckon they have the same media "balance" like we have.
Negative press after negative press, but somehow they position themselves as protectors of the English clubs, but only preferential.

I think I am going on 27 years of watching english commentary for the league, I've never heard, not even once, a mention why the english clubs were banned in Europe.

The only time I have heard it mentioned in the media was by Mark Lawrenson.
He was talking about gatherings with his old Liverpool team mates.
He said that the only thing that was never discussed was Heysel.
He was surprised by this given the events and scale of the tragedy.
In fairness, that may be understandable for the players, a bit like trauma victims, block the traumatic events from their minds.

In main stream media it is never talked about, unlike City's vile owners, Newcastle's vile owners, etc...

Martin Samuel wrote this. -:

One look at the team sheet at Atletico Madrid on Wednesday and it was obvious there would be trouble.

Fourth official: Felix Zwayer. This was the referee who completely failed to get to grips with Lyon’s play-acting and time-wasting at West Ham last week. So UEFA sent him to help officiate the most volatile club in the Champions League.

Zwayer spent most of the game cajoling Diego Simeone, who ignored him. Pep Guardiola did the right thing: won the match, kept his counsel, beat Atletico at their own game by organising his defence magnificently.

There probably isn’t a team in Europe who would have kept the clean sheet City did. But they got no protection from UEFA who continue to promote officials who are weak on foul play.

Unlike his colleagues on that tabloid & others + BBC, SKY, TS etc who can always be relied on to tell it is as it isn't.
