Micah

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Micah

Is the lad fuckin simple or something?

This weeks dig at City has him write a full piece for the BBC about how poor our fans are because we don’t appreciate Sterling enough.

Do they need more ammo? Especially from someone that’s supposed to be a fan ffs?!

Every other week it’s a different dig from him, has he been fully converted by his bosses?

Yes and in Saturdays paper he nominated “ Magical Mane” for player of the season, when he is on tv he is an embarrassment thinking every sentence has to end in a loud guffaw, the blokes a bell end

Genuinely don’t understand his timing at all.

BBC, “Hi Micah, can you write us an article on City?”
Micah, “I can but it’ll be a positive one. They’re at the business end of the season and fighting for two major trophies so I don’t want them being distracted.”

Easy conversation, unless all you think about is ££££

He's trying to take the path rat boy took.

Lavishing praise on rivals whilst having digs at his own team. Apparently people will think you're completely unbiased and your integrity can't be questioned at a later date.

When people say what a good pundit Neville is and I ask why, they always say because he’ll tell the truth about United and praise other teams

He does it in a sly way where when he’s backed into a corner and has no other choice but to praise City or Liverpool he will, because he doesn’t want to look bitter. But he makes sly digs all the time about us.

Morons just lap it up. Like you say, Micah is going the same way. If he didn’t rim Keane at every opportunity he’d be off Sky tomorrow.

I have posted before that Micah is out of his depth and will not last as a pundit. Keane, Shearer, Souness and Lineker try help him out but that is becoming more and more difficult.
When Micah is on TV now I cringe and feel genuinely sorry for the guy. He can't keep up with the conversation, can't analyse and can't debate. He got away with these short comings through banter and a big laugh. Initially people liked this but now it has become irritating, forced and scripted.
The TV companies have realized their mis-judgement with Micah, Micah realizes he is on thinning ice and now he is doing their bidding.
But he is on a loser. The clock is ticking for him. I will be amazed if Micah is still on TV in three years time. He should exit now under his own steam because he is going to be cast aside and by then he will have burnt bridges and lost self respect.
Nice lad but not bright enough to be a TV pundit.

You would think a local Englishman with local roots would defends us to the brim.

On the other hand, Zabba is carrying the flag for us, always praising and backing us everywhere he does punditry. Not only that, it seems his co pundits enjoy his company. I cant say the same for that knitwitt.

It’s always nice to have a pundit that supports us and gives us credit. I’m happy for them to do that and also offer up some criticism when it’s called for.

But I don’t see what Micah is trying to achieve by the timing of some of his stories. And some of the criticism isn’t justified - like his Sterling comments, “I was sat there and heard City fans saying ‘get him off’ when Sterling made a mistake…” okay great, you heard a few fans around you say that but you’re making out the whole stadium was booing him. It’s just weird.

A shame MarkMak doesn’t post on here anymore and we could get him to ask Micah the question.

Two sides to this. I like the way he livens it up a bit with his personality (Sourness, keane and Ratboy would bring on a severe bout of depression). But often its just too much, too over played and as a result he is a bad pundit. Not taken seriously.

Sometimes you should just stop talking. If he keeps talking shit they will keep lapping it up.

Micah is a good lad. Forget the media Polish of the scum an murderers reps. Read Souness today calling out Pep over the Grealish deal, that’s not a scouser shooting back at Jack for his comments on his team. Micah has just started he’s green it’s not a crime, what is a crime is the fakes who separate Pep from us to keep in favour with him never hiding the fact they despise us.

He’s been a pundit for 3 years now Hazy. He’s not new.

I understand it’s probably going to take him a long time to realise what’s happening because he comes across as thick. But the negative articles at important times of the season are annoying.

I think Zaba is quite underrated. People think he is a brute, but he is quite one of the most intelligent ex-footballers I’ve heard talk. His accent, the natural way in explaining things.
He is a joy.
