If you’d asked if I’d take a 1-0 lead into the away game, I’d have taken it. Could’ve been so much more though.

Laporte frustrates me big time. No reason why he couldn’t close down for their second goal. I know people will defend him on here but these massive nights in the CL he tends to have a fuck up in him.

Away goals don’t count double now do they?

Joke. Second leg should be irrelevant. We've scored 4 from the usual 25 chances and they've scored 3 from 2.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I hope Pep is on the phone to the guys in charge to tell them to get Haaland over the line tomorrow.

After that performance you'd think he's signing for Madrid.

Difficult to appraise that. Fabulous entertainment but City are profligate. Imagine a Kun in that.

It’s a disappointing result when you consider how many excellent chances we had. We created so much and to go into the second leg with only a 1 goal lead feels like a missed opportunity.

We are definitely better than them. I’m confident we can complete the job next week.

Laporte was a disaster. Abysmal performance.

Attacking-wise, we were brilliant and caused them so many problems. Our finishing let us down though.

A belting game. And we won. Scored four and it could have been seven easily. I still think we will progress to the final which is what the aim is. Yes we could have scored more and yes we let them back into it but any side with Benzema in it will always score goals.

Happy overall

No. I think we can do any team on our day but not having Walker or Cancelo, and a doubtful Stones, against their wide players, it would always be a problem and that’s why I think we tried to push them back. Then to lose Stones and have Fern in their made it even worse for me.

Got the lead though and just have to see what’s to come.
