Describing Liverpool as lucky team and they get all the decisions at Anfield. Using the penalty decision against Everyone as an example of their 'luck'.
At least it makes a change to hear someone call out what is going on with Liverpool.
I quite like Adrian Durham to be fair he has been on our side on a few occasions

At least somebody noticed - if you head the ball onto your own arm it's no penalty

Think that might be the PL interpretation, not sure for CL, especially against European royalty...

Dimples is talking about the penalty that Everton never got on Sunday not the one given against us against Real Madrid. That was a penalty, his arm is in a position where it shouldn't be and while unlucky to head it against his hand it had to be given.

Reading the media you think last night was all about Benzema. Not a word about how the Ginger Socrates controlled the whole midfield.

El Mundo Deportivo reprts that Real 'got out alive'. They could have been hammered, but weren't, so the 'destiny will be decided at the Santiago Bernabeu'

Anyone watched the game on Supersport (I think it's called, has a S as logo)?
Tyler almost died of despair every time we scored.

Off his head on to his arm which was in a natural position as a consequence of the jump - ie not above his head. No pen on any interpretation of the handball rule,

I did see it, his arm is above his shoulder and out from his body, looks like a penalty to me. The officials thought the same but I respect your right to disagree.

How about this for bias in the Irish Independent. Headlines over past two days. I think we must have lost last night... we've relinquished control apparently.

His hand is just above the level of his ear when the ball strikes it.
Last time I looked at Laporte, his ears were on the side of his head which is above his shoulders.

I can only imagine the size of your ears but they must be considerably larger than your brain

Its a penalty all day in the chumps league. Curious to see if we would get the same for us next week in similar circumstances though. Hopefully, we will not require such gifts

You should work for VAR

He’s jumping leaning forward. The line wouldn’t be straight across the picture.

Apparently so, European regulations require defenders to jump as if they are all wearing jet packs, whereas forwards can be birdmen
