We should be going for Aurélien Tchouameni to replace Fernandinho rather than let the dippers get him. Houssem Aouar would be a very good alternative.

Is Aouar still any good?
He looked fantastic, but so did Fekir and Ndombele and they failed to deliver.

Rodney talking with Cheesey saying he was told two weeks ago Haaland deal was done and also that City were trying to offload a major player and if the deal went through everyone would be shocked at who City were offloading.
He said City's lineup next season with Kev, Phil, Haaland and others would be awesome.
That sounds like Bernado or Mahrez?
Sterling or Jesus would not be a shock.
Only other shock would be Grealish.

Razza and Jesus for Haaland and Alvarez I reckon. And we'll make a profit.

I’m thinking Laporte because Marsh said it’s “left field” indicating it’ll be a left sided player. As long as it’s not Grealish I’m not arsed tbh.

Depends how ‘left field’ is interpreted, I guess. ‘Left-sided’ or ‘outside the box’. To some, Sterling might fall within the latter connotation.

Pogba has decided against joining Manchester City "The Athletic can reveal that this potential switch is not going to happen after the 29-year-old midfielder opted against joining City, instead favouring the whole package offered by another club.
Despite Pogba’s affiliation with United — his six-year second spell there, making eight altogether, will finish when his contract expires in the coming weeks - the 2018 World Cup winner is understood to have received a flattering proposal from City and gave serious contemplation to the five-time Premier League champions.
However, Pogba’s representatives are believed to have informed City that the France international is to continue his career at a different team. Former club Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are thought to be the most likely destinations at present, although a final decision is yet to be made.
Pogba started out at Le Havre in his homeland, then spent two years with United before heading to Italian side Juventus as a free agent in 2012 at age 19. He returned to Old Trafford four years later for a then-world record £89 million, but the subsequent period has not proved as successful as hoped and he is set to exit for nothing at the conclusion of the campaign."

I can't say I'd be heartbroken if he left. He is the one defender I worry about when he's in possession especially as he gets up near halfway. Always good for a shit pass that puts us on the back foot. He also misses piss easy chances at the other end and I don't buy the "he's a defender" argument. They're chances that a footballer, regardless of position should be putting away. If he does go, he won't be that difficult to replace in my opinion.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Laporte wont be sold, if any defender should go its Stones, smashing player but missed too many games.
No way will Grealish be going anywhere.
With two attacking players incoming its got to be one of Sterling, Jesus, or Silva going.
Silva going would be an absolute tragedy. But we don't know what he was promised last season.

According to Merson, Grealish is a failure and City will look to sell because he doesn’t fit our system.
Sounds like some of you on here

As shit as Sterling has been, I'd like to see him playing off a striker as I think that's when he is most effective. The problem is that it'd be a gamble that if it didn't pay off would see him walking away on a free and I can't see that happening. Jesus makes more sense. He doesn't want to play down the middle and that is now far less likely to happen with the new signings. We're more than adequately covered with wide players so if anything, he's going to get far less playing time.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Sterling is on big wages he looks like he's running down his contract, if we could get decent money for him I would move on.
Laporte has made critical, (some say 'suspicious'), mistakes in a number of huge CL matches, he can be decent, but is not the very highest level, he has Puyol, ex-Barca player as his agent. We obviously need a top quality replacement, but would not break my heart if he left. He seems to sulk when left out.
Lots of rumours Jesus is off this summer, (giving his shirt number to Haaland), trying to win his Brazil squad place back for the world cup.
Unfortunately I would not be surprised if we also sold Bernardo and Mahrez, who I like.
Much will depend on the money we are offered for our players? Maybe Barca will offer a swap deal for Bernardo?

We thought that about Kompany, Toure, Silva, Aguero.
And we have continued to win trophies
He is a damn fine player, of that there is no question. But when he leaves, (hopefully in a good few years yet by the way), we will find a replacement
Kolarov has been irreplaceable though.
Goes without saying.

TBH, the way the media are talking about Sterling leaving is they're saying it would be calamitous for City. They obviously have no idea how he is regarded by City fans. Maybe Pep doesn't realise either, or he's playing mind games with the media.
