A video of the statue that celebrates ‘the moment’ and, of course Sergio, is now on the City website. Top stuff!

Same here! Can’t wait to see the statue ‘in the flesh’ at the Villa game.

I took my daughter to the match....we had front row seats in the corner that Merlin whipped it in for Edin to nod in the comeback goal.......there is no moment in sport that comes anywhere close for me on that day.....I still get giddy as chuff watching it back and I’m 47.....and on one of sky’s promo clips where they follow serge after he scores and wheels away windmilling his shirt my daughter can be seen in the background going utterly crazy.....for everything city had put us through in the previous 30 years was forgiven in that split second.....and I was there to witness it.......pure unadulterated joy

I wasn’t at the match but went from utter despair to unbridled joy in two minutes. I must have watched that goal from various sources on You tube 5000 times…..and that’s a conservative guess !!
A moment that I shall never forget and neither will the football world.

I was at the game, and my predominant memory is that when they equalised I called Lescott a few choice names, but wasn't at all worried.
Pretty much the same at 2-1, I still wasn't too concerned as it was so one way and we had 25 minutes. I actually remember thinking we'll score a hatload against these.
Then all of a sudden it was 88 minutes and panic set in.
The rest as they say is history.
But that noise when Kun scored will stay with me forever.

Can’t imagine a set of circumstances that would result in a more astonishing outcome. Unique. I remember my son asking me if I was laughing or crying and replying that I didn’t know. Hair still stands up on my neck a decade later.
