He’s saying everything that should have been said a long time ago - I’m sure he’s asked the hierarchy that he wants to fight back and they have finally agreed .

I hope he calls out every single wanker that disses our club every time the opportunity arises as we shouldn’t take anymore of their shit without retribution and this should be part of our fucking mission from now on .

John68 ,,,,take note !!!!
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I’m glad he’s sticking up for us. Someone within the club has to!

 That is very funny from Pep. Good man Pep. This belongs in the laughing thread.
I once heard a pundit describe Berbatov's lack of character as '...Berbatov a leader? He is not even a follower....'

It’s actually funny cause Fergie couldn’t handle leaders.

- Look at it ended with Keane
- Look how it ended with Beckham
- Look how it ended with Stam
- He refused to speak to Brain Kidd after Kidd wanted to try his hand at Management with Blackburn

“The players who come here don’t come to play for me, they come to play in this league and for this club,” said Guardiola. “It’s so important the people [fans], the way we play, the team we are, the city, where we are in the league, how we are expected to play in the Champions League the next seasons. Many things are involved.

People come not just for a month or a year. Sergio [Agüero] came here and did 10 years, David Silva came here and did 10 years and Vincent [Kompany, actually 11] the same and Yaya Touré [eight years]. Many important players arrive here and stay a long time. How long depends if they are happy here.
“What we do is make them feel happy in the city, in the locker room, playing in the Premier League and many things. After that, who knows what will happen. But this is the idea.”

“Sergio came and did ten years” - sounds like a prison sentence  and for some of our fans it’s felt like it at certain points!!

Its remarkable though how the media still claim players only come to us as mercenaries solely for the money. When the reality is when we sign a player they invariably become part of our family and stay for a long time. Cant recall many, if any, players wanting out that we were sad to see go. Nacho maybe, at a stretch, but we were offered too good money to turn down and the decision has been vindicated subsequently by him not kicking on.

The signing of Haaland already has the mongs in the media saying hes come for the money, he is using us a stepping stone to Madrid etc. Let's see shall we. If we kick on in Europe over the next 2/3 seasons in the CL and continue to dominate in the PL and he feels the love and freedom that we offer as a club then why would he not stay? Aguero every summer was supposedly off to Spain and every following season smashed 25/30 goals in for us.

Don't think he will - the stars are aligning, Spurs no CL so Conte to PSG and Poch to us after Pep's contract ends next year.

If Vieira keeps doing well it wouldn’t surprise me if we went for him.
