There is jeopardy in the game too, Hammers want that Europa league spot, apparently the fans enjoyed their Europa experience this season, so yeah tough game ahead

Just watching spurs v Burnley, VAR checking for handball, the commentator Darke said he could hear the VAR guy telling the ref to go to the monitor and check it, I didn’t know BT Sport were piped in to VAR ! Anyway pen was given and Kane scored 1-0

Replica of Laporte - not intentional below head height but given despite rule. PL want the keep the CL place pot boiling and Everton in the league so Burnley are sacrificed

I have exactly the same thought, VAR used as a tool that allows manipulation by the powers that be

Burnley can really fuck off.
Fuck them and their horrible fans. Hope they go down and never come back
And fuck Arse also. I hate Spuds, but hope they get top 4 this year because they did not bend and took up the arse vs dippers.

Rather warmly expressed but I do have sympathy with these sentiments. :D

Spot on Harry, manipulation is the word and totally blatant. Combine that with the VAR ref listening to the usually rabidly biased commentary feed (with comments during their assessment) and the absurd idea that it is natural for defenders to jump with their arms by their sides as if wearing a jetpack - but not attackers who routinely do star jumps without sanction.

This result leaves Burnley on the brink - if they get relegated they will enjoy the full benefits of their US takeover - bankruptcy

I'm slightly heartened to find that it's not just City games where Hinchcliffe annoys the shit out of me.

Everton too!
