We should hopefully have Ake back and Foden rested
along with Gundo KDB might be less knackered too
So don’t see why we won’t beat villa even with slippy as villa mgr

We should hammer them. Just like QPR all those years ago.

OTT on Pep again.
Mahrez missed the peno, not Pep.
Alty did not give the first peno, not Pep.
Ake obviously is not fit enough to be risked.
Four first choice defenders are injured and we still managed 78% possession and 31 shots today.
WH was never going to be easy.

Liverpool still have to beat Southampton and have a couple of injuries. They will be helped by officials but it is still not a gimme (even though I accept they could score 7). If they turn up like Duracell bunnies, will questions be asked? NO. That is what Pep is up against.

We are still in control, have a weeks rest, one home match to play, with a fully rested Foden, Sterling and Gundo.

I would have taken that at the start of the game.

Really nervous for Sunday given we are playing slippies Villa. I mean it couldn't be more written! Normal day we smash them every day of the week, fingers crossed for a normal day.

We know Coutino will score a curler and Ederson will let a scrappy soft goal in so if we score three we should win.

You literally sound like you’re upset that someone’s questioned Pep

Pep showed respect to a one club long standing pro. That is the point that was being made.
I congratulate and admire Pep for showing that respect and shining a positive light on the club.
That is the point - the point is not how people may react to hypothetical situations next week. That is just speculation.

The Saints game is a difficult one to call in terms of Saints performance, safe from relegation, but total dissatisfaction with Hussanhutto or whatever the fuck he’s called, the fans will want a good display because the don’t like dippers for taking their best players, the officiating will favour dippers but Saints can put up decent performances when they want, like I said difficult to call which Saints team turns up

Just for the retards again, he can show support for anyone. That’s not being questioned.

Do it in the tunnel when Noble is walking through. Don’t make it all about Pep again on someone else’s day.

……a penalty for the title, that’s what it boiled down to today, so a free shot at goal from 12 yards and couldn’t do it. There will be enormous pressure on us next week and I see it as being exactly the same as today, we will get run ragged on the break with our makeshift defence. Any other game against Villa would be a pushover but I guarantee this one won’t be. I’m worried.

Team selection is crucial that’s what I am worried about, it’s essentially a final, Pep can fuck up in final situations over thinking, play our best players available, Ake has got to start, and we will win

Home game against average opponents. After QPR we wouldn’t make this one difficult would we.

I fail to understand how people can say Pep is not to blame today.
Surely, agree, the players are the first responsible, them playing like that in the first half is a joke, but Pepito shares the blame. The whole setup was wrong today from the lineup to the nonexistent changes that could have changed the outcome of the game.

I swear it's the same thing as with Sterling. Are we all watching different games?

We’re assuming Liverpool get six points from their final two, a reasonable assumption but still an assumption.

Wish it wasn’t Villa with Gerrard and them not wanting Grealish to win it in front of their fans. But unfortunately it is and they’ll be above average for the day just because of that.
