People can be upset with drawing to a team we should be beating, especially when we miss a penalty in the last minute.

As has been mentioned, we destroyed them and had 30+ shots compared to their 6. 662 passes compared with their 183. We controlled and dictated the game. We should and could have won. People can be annoyed, upset, gutted about that.

I get why some will be frustrated but I disagree with all this ‘We should be beating these teams’. The Hammers are a tough team that we only beat 2-1 at our place, and that was with a full squad to turn to. That was our 4th game in 11 days (Hammers 3rd in 10) and without our probable best back 4. Two terrible defensive errors from us and some good work on the counter from them had us chasing the game.

Good to see we redeemed ourselves with that second half performance where we really took it to them. Pep obviously changed things tactically to ensure we had more room in the centre but it was the same players that turned it around instead of throwing their dummy’s.

Whether we got a win or a draw today, makes no real difference, winning our last game was always a must knowing Liverpool have Southampton in midweek.

Why are we so surprised. It's a part of what we are.
I get a picture of our owner sat in the UAE, shaking his head, smiling ruefully and muttering the Arabic translation of "What the fukkin hell have I bought?"

Reminds me of a conversation with a certain CEO of ours, leaning over in his chair and saying ‘And I just paid 60 million for those two’. This was following the 3-3 draw with Burnley back in 2009 under Hughes. That was the point where the managers days were numbered.

The media hate us and even they are singing the praises of a "champion-like" come back.

We have to play villa at home to win the league. It's not like they're wolves, a lot further up the table and with the ability to upset big teams regularly.

It was disappointing that a missed penalty didn't win us the most dodgy game of the run in but the suicidal posts are ridiculous.

It's the new age Dub.
Someone has to be blamed. then pilloried. Sometimes they go in, sometimes they don't. Some you win and some you don't. Bikg teams lose to little teams and the rags lose to almost everyone.
I'm quite looking forward to the Villa game, the will we, won't we, nagging in the back of my head. The prematch butterflies of doubt. and the sheer joy of each goal City score.
Can you imagine how much different 2012 would have been if we had won comfortably 5-0.
No explosion of hysterical joy, no tears, no historic moment. and no videos on youtube to still bring a tear to our eyes 10yrs after.

WE WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE, OF THAT I HAVE NO DOUBT...well maybe just a little bit.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Villa have to play on Thursday.

When we had those 7 matches in a row to save our season I’d have taken 5 wins and a draw with the title in our hands. If we can’t beat Villa at home on Sunday we don’t deserve to win the title. It’s that simple. Going to the Etihad on Sunday and I fully expect to be celebrating at the end of the match. Calm down guys.

Is the right answer. We have to work hard for one more game to take the spoils. If we play how we know we can, we win.

There’s always the variables but, on the whole, with this City team, I can only see one outcome.

Suicidal posts on here from the same few . Brilliant comeback from the champions elect today in difficult circumstances. City sitting pretty at the top of the league with one game left and it’s a home fixture . Drink it in support you’re fucking club it doesn’t get any better than this , most football fans would give their right fucking arm to be in a position like this just once in their lifetime never mind so many times we have had in the last decade .
Unbelievable.
Not really here

Funny I thought he was ok and West Ham hated him. If it wasn't for the fact we cant get anyone to score a penalty and the left back is utter shite, then we would've won

Anty was spot on, I agree.
He gave us a penalty to seal the title away in the 85th minute. Nothing more he can do.

He didn’t give it initially mate. He didn’t blow for them pen. It was VAR that told him to go look at the monitor. He wouldn’t have given it.

To be fair, even that tit could not not give the penalty once he got the call to review it blatant as it was. As above, the lack of a defensive minded full back and a missed penalty cost us. We have to resolve the left back issue it makes everyone nervous and Ed is also affected. His decision making in charging off his line has always been suspect but with the defence all over the place, its worse

I wonder if it would be wiser to switch Rodri with Fern with Villa. Put Dinho in the middle and leave Rodri on the back. He is bigger, stronger, but slower.

Maybe he realised if he didn’t give it there’d be loads of sUiCidAl pOsTs on here and didn’t want to be responsible for that?
